Asked whether Mayo will ever play on the outside, Belichick said (per Tom Curran of CSNNE.com), “Yeah, I mean, I don’t really see that. Maybe the next coach can put him there, I don’t know. But I think he’s going to play off the line of scrimmage and he’s going to play in the tackle box somewhere.”
Though Belichick surely was kidding when he referred to the whole “next coach” thing, there’s persistent speculation in some circles that Belichick would ride off into the sunset if he could win one more Super Bowl.

Admittedly this is probably an overreaction on my part, but I read this and I got upset at the thought of BB not coaching this team. So I ask you patsfans, if BB wins another ring do you see him stepping away?
Personally I hope not, he's accomplished so much with this team and I'd hate to see that era end. (Obviously I feel the same about TFB but I'm comforted in knowing he's got at least 4 more years here)
On one hand, he's entering his 12th season here and that's a lot, but at the same time he's still sharp as ever, and you see moves like drafting Mallett and you wonder if he's setting the groundwork for a post Brady era.
Whenever BB does decide to retire, I will always remember his time here with two words:
Excellence and Dominance!
