Practice Squad player like Weston and Richard may be back to the Practice Squad or not. I rarely project Practice Squad positions.

Weston and Richard have almost ZERO chance of making the 53, given that they have to beat out all 5 in the thread title plus Anderson and Brace for the 7th DL roster spot.

Brace and Anderson play different positions, I doubt they will be fighting it out.

Unless Brace has managed to get down to 270.

I'm confused as to why you assume that there will only be 7 DL, given the number invited to camp, when even BB thought it obvious enough to admit that "the linebacker/defensive line numbers will probably shift a little bit from what they've been in past years."

Maybe this was just destined to be a confusing thread.

I assume you're listing guys like Cunningham and Moore as LBs? You might want to include OLB/DE types to avoid confusion. Because when by all accounts 95% of defensive fronts so far this year have been 4 man fronts, it doesn't make much sense to only include one or two 4 man DES.

After, Wilfork and Haynesworth all you have is two undersized pass rushing DTs and a tweener (Ellis) and some DEs.

Warren or Love or both will make the team they need another big run stuffer on the bench.

No one is giving Love any love, I say he starts tonight and has a good chance to make the team. They should keep at least one young guy and he appears to be the best of the young DTs.

Maybe I'm off on Pryor, but I don't exactly see him as an undersized rushing DT. Listed as 6-1, 310. Which incidentally is exactly what Love is listed at.

I sure loved the way Pryor played in his limited duty last season. Brace also had some moments where he seemed to excel a bit. Ah well.

I don't think BB will want the unit to be that old with that many question marks....I'll bet you one of ellis,warren,haynesworth will not be with the team week 1 whether it is PUP or IR or cut
