TO to Colts?

I've got a simple question for you. Which of the Colts receivers were better than Terrell Owens in 2010? You can choose from;

  1. Reggie Wayne,
  2. Pierre Garcon,
  3. Austin Collie,
  4. Anthony Gonzalez and
  5. Blair White.
I think you can plug him in to any of those slots and not see much difference.
Production from a WR has as much to do with the play call as the quality of the WR. The real question is if he switched spots with any of those guys would there be much difference. Include 2009 in your response as well.

Answer the question.

But to answer your question, first there is a difference between better play and better stats.
Wayne was better.
Collie was better when he played
Garcon was similar
Gonzalez was injured
White was a backup forced into action who proved the 'anyone you put in there gets similar results theory' just as Tamme did.

Now as far as TO:
His team was 2 and 11 when he played. His contribution to 2 wins was 7 for 99 and zero TDs.
Are we going to call accumulating stats against a prevent defense in a blowout like against us, 'good' WR play?

I did answer the question
That's not an answer, that's fluff attempting to discredit TO's contribution in 2010 in the attempt to support your poor starting position.

I'm going to assume you agree that TO was better than all of the Colts receivers not named Reggie Wayne, thus your failure to directly state that.

You cannot argue against that. The numbers alone won't allow you too.

Direct question = direct answer. No fluff.

I foresee a thread war....:bricks:

i dont think the colts will sign T.O but if they do i dont see why he cant have have a good year he was the better of the of the two WR's in cincy last year and the pats made a trade for the outher one so if ocho can have a good year with Brady and i think he will i dont see why a hall of fame WR like T.O cant have one last good year with Manning

No.
I said Wayne was better
Collie was better when he was healthy
Garcon was similar
Gonzalez was injured
White was a backup forced into action

Is that really that difficult to understand

If you dont like my answer give your own, which apparently is you were more impressed with TO accumulating stats in losses than these guys contributing to wins. Thats fine. I just disagree with that outlook on football.

I am not interested in your opinion and meanderings, I want yes or no answers to the following questions;

Was TO better than Reggie Wayne in 2010 according to production?
Was TO better than Pierre Garcon in 2010 according to production?
Was TO better than Austin Collie in 2010 according to production?
Was TO better than Anthony Gonzalez in 2010 according to production?
Was TO better than Blair White in 2010 according to production?

I'm not sure the Colts have the Cap room to sign TO. I may be wrong on that, but.......

To be honest, I'd love to see another me-first head case on that team. It'll be right interesting to see of both TO's and Manning's egos can fit inside that dome at the same time.

You asked my opinion. You said who was better.
If you wish to answer the question yourself feel free. I have given my answer.

I know a defeated poster when I see one and you Andy, have been thoroughly embarrassed in this thread. And to think, a simple yes or no to a couple of qualifiers from a simple question could have fixed the problem.

It's embarrassing that you're a moderator. You should be pissed off to the Practice Squad. It's where you belong.

I answered your question twice. If you want to think I am 'defeated' or 'embarrassed' feel free, then feel free to move on and get a life.
If there is something you are trying to get me to say, feel free to just say it yourself. I have compared him to each player twice. Last I checked my answer does not require your approval.
But go ahead and act like a child and insult me. That is a really mature way to discuss football isnt it?
Sorry you don't want to discuss the topic rationally, but I'l, stop now. Feel free to have the last word and throw in your obligatory immasculating, stupid, gay or ethnic comment toward me. Have a good night, sir.

TO is MUCH MORE consistent than moss, when going to non contenders

that's a fact

I asked a simple question with a simple request. You avoided the yes/no request knowing what the answer would be. Like usual, when you're wrong you simply avoid answering a direct question. Now, you're standing on a soapbox trying to wrestle some sort of philosophical ascendency.

As I said, 5 simple yes/no answers would have sufficed and from my observations, you're not man enough to address that simple request. It never needed to get to this point Andy. This is your fault and nobody else's.

And for the record, Reggie Wayne was the only Colts receiver better than Terrell Owens in 2010. That is ALL you had to answer NO too.

Hey that's wonderful. If you feel better give yourself a win, since apparently you feel having a discussion is a competition.
I may not be the smartest man in the world but I have learned that when you need to resort to personal insults you are not worth having a discussion with. This will be my last word on this, and if in the future you choose to behave on the same infantile way, we will just not discuss anything.
I guess congratulations are in order because you must feel you beat me at something here while I was just talking football.

Andy, was Reggie Wayne the only receiver on the Colts who played to a better level than Terrell Owens did in the NFL in 2010? Yes or no.

I have no dog in this fight, but Andy answered the question in post #23. Just because he went on to elaborate doesn't mean he didn't.

I havent seen this reported by any credible source. My guess is that it's bull****.
