Re: Friday's New England Patriots Links 8/5

I dug out a ton of links this morning, including all the training camp wrap ups I could find from yesterday at the request of everyone in here. So this entry is bigger than most of the others, which is why it took me so long to get it posted.

Good stuff. This Mankins quote from the Jennifer Toland article was really eye opening; “Let’s get things straight,” Mankins said. “Mr. Kraft and I never had a problem. I never said he lied. When I said the organization, I never said he did. Me and Mr. Kraft never had a problem. We talked last offseason. We talked last season. We talked this offseason. We’ve talked in training camp. Everything’s good between me and him.”.

Hey I didn't see anything in the camp notes about if there were any chicks there to meet or not.

Apparently we traded for Chad "Hands of stone" Johnson.

Who's interested in chickerinos when there's FOOTBALL to be played ;)

He's learning an entirely new system in a short amount of time, it's normal for a temporary drop in skill as the brain assimilates new information, it's just the way the brain works.

Ocho will be just fine.

Friday's New England Patriots Links 8/5
By: Ian Logue

Here's are today's New England Patriots links for Friday August 5th, 2011....

Bump.

Anybody that hasn't taken a look at this column is truly missing out. There's a ton of links to great articles, many of which I can pretty much guarantee folks here have not previously seen.

I had never previously seen that first site; Steve B is somebody worth following. The Nick Underhill column (and link within that article to another column of his) were excellent. Underhill may be the most under appreciated, under rated Pats beat writer out there.

Thanks for putting that together.

Just spent like 45 minutes reading most of those links. Love the TC write-ups. Keep up the good work Ian.

That is the sound of a man smooching some serious butt in the hopes of a long-term deal with lots of guaranteed money.

So "the organization" is a lying sack of s%#t, but Mr. Kraft never lied. Well, if not Mr. Kraft, was it the other Mr. Kraft or Bill Belichick? It was probably that ingrate, rat snitch Eric Mangini who lied before he left town. Yeah that's it.

Hey Logan, give me a big smack right here on my left cheek! Thank you.

Curran just said that, from what he knows, the problem was with the Patriots organization and a communications snafu with too many people working on the Mankins issue.

I guess that means it's you who owes Mankins the cheeky kiss.

I usually do these before I come in. Was scheduled in a little later than normal this morning so I had some extra time

Without question AllWorldTE is the best camp poster. A great read.
Love how 2011 Arrington is jamming WRs including unjamable Welker. Speaks volumes for the season.

What an amazing camp report by AllworldTE. Addictive.
