Beautiful night, cool breeze and a large crowd. This will never rival Mrs. B, so no sense in pretending.

Spotted Mankins right away so knew that the collective bargaining agreement was signed.

The O linemen were in the far left corner and the media seemed to be focused on them with their camera's, initially thought it was due to Mankins, but closer look revealed Nate Solder who is the tallest O lineman. Good news, everybody is in.

In an early drill Mankins and Solder were lined up on the left side against Haynesworth, Solder blocked Haynesworth who finished the play with an obvious hands to the face of Solder at the end of the play. Welcome to the NFL Nate Solder.

After that interchange Haynesworth disapeared and saw him later laying on the ground, he and BB had a tete a tete on the field.. not sure what that is about, some rumors about an injury. Hope he was not screwing the pooch and whatever is going on is legitimate.

Solder and Light alternated at left tackle.

Ocho Cinco dropped a lot of balls.

Meriweather tweaked his calf.

Mankins looked mean and nasty throughout.

BJGE looked quick.

Gronkowski looked good, right now he is dominant.

Hernandez worked out with the Wide Receiver Position Players.. not the tight ends.

Guyton did not look good covering tight ends.

Mallett looked raw, great arm.. but not that accurate.

After practice Hernandez and Ocho Cinco worked on catching the ball with #12.

Mr. Kraft was there in sneakers and jeans, but his shirt was pink with white collar not the traditional blue with white.. got a lot of shoutouts from the crowd.

Tom Brady is clearly the fan favorite, and there is a whole new generation of very small pats fans all wearing #12 jerseys.. he will never have to buy a drink in this town.

Towards the end a group of military in full uniform marched on the field, not sure of the significance as it was close to the end, but they got a standing O.

Linebackers signed..

Very good night, with such a large group there is so much going on, difficult to digest it all.. tried to focus on our newer players.

Can you go into more detail on how Solder looked out there? Was he getting beat etc ?

I just hope these small kids get carded trying to buy alcohol for Brady

Thanks for the report. Did you see if Price and Bodden have continued their good camp?

I kept hearing that Ocho dropped some balls. I'm not worried, he is one of the hardest workers in the nfl. He will probably spend hours of extra practice to get this right. It may even be good for him actually.

I dont think I have ever heard a bad thing about Mankins play. He could be one of the best players in the nfl..but that never really goes noticed because he doesnt play CB, QB or WR.

Thats good that mallet has a huge arm, and also good that he has BB and New England on his side..you know who else has a strong arm? Russell.

i heard a lot of the WR had some drops, as well as Hernandez..I also heard that Gronk has been owing every Training camp.

I was watching sports central and mankins said that they are working on a long term contract!!

He is probably just not used to having the ball thrown right to him.

lmfao. good one.

It must be quite an adjustment when you've spent your entire career catching balls knowing that you have to extend for the ball every time.

With Brady the ball comes to you in stride. Just be at the right spot at the right time.

Deion Branch said that he is still learining the pats offense, its not that simple like it was in cincinnati when he had free routs. i think he is a avrage+ WR but he can work out just fine if he will be professional as he always does.

From what I saw he looked ok, definitely benefitting from being next to Mankins.. but overall too early to tell much of anything, it was his first practice..

One of my issues is that there is so much going on, and difficult to focus on a lot of guys.. tried to pick out the new guys mostly, watching close to 90 guys spread over two fields with refs and a lot of coaches and coaches assistants is a lot of people to keep my eye on.

No did not notice Price or Bodden..

I can say from experience that when football firsts started up every year, I would try to catch everything 1. as late as possible and 2. with one hand as much as possible. It helped me get use to seeing the ball longer and made catching with two hands much easier. I don't know if Chad is doing any of that, but I'm sure I looked awful when practices started. It was all work for the end result though.
