Great find! Great read!
Has some quotes and stories I haven't read before and I'd like to think I've read them all.

Here is a jewel:

He (BB)practically scoffed at the idea that Haynesworth could be his greatest coaching challenge.

“I’m telling you, we’ve had some guys,” said Belichick, his voice trailing off to emphasize the point. “Now, I know it’s only been a few days, but I would definitely say, so far, so good. I would say there were other players I have coached that within 24 hours … it started. You knew it wasn’t going to work.”

I am very excited about these two.

Ocho-“It’s everything,” Ochocinco said, “not just what you see on the field, it’s how we work in meetings. Every little thing has to be right or you’re getting ripped. Everybody gets ripped, even Tom [Brady], me, everybody. In Cincinnati, nobody ever said anything to Carson [Palmer]. Not here, because that’s the expectation. I love it. They expect perfection. You don’t hear the coaches saying, ‘Good play.’ That’s what you’re supposed to do.”

He's drinking a lot of the kool aid.

Haynesworth-“I’ve been around some really good teams, like that year [2008] we were 10-0 in Tennessee. But this is another 20 percent above that in terms of what everybody expects. We had a great coach in [former Titans coach] Jeff Fisher, but Belichick is beyond even that. He doesn’t let anything slip through the cracks. Not one little thing. It all has to be right.”

He is drinking the koolaid

Ocho keeps saying being in new england is like being in HEAVEN!! Haynesworth before coming to the NFL is a Patriots fan. They are going to do great for out team. I AM SO EXCITED!!

Love this quote

As for the 33-year-old Ochocinco, his sense of relief is constant. He talked about the morning last week when agent Drew Rosenhaus texted him, “Emergency, call ASAP.”

“I’m thinking, ‘Yeah, what could this be?’ ” Ochocinco said, sarcastically. “I called Drew and he said, ‘[Bengals owner] Mike [Brown] has agreed to trade you to New England.’ I just dropped the phone and started crying. I was just bawling. You know how it is on draft day when you finally get selected. It was like draft day all over again.”

Driven by that emotion, Ochocinco is doing everything right. He stayed after practice with Wes Welker(notes) to catch extra passes from Brady and didn’t leave the field until talking to Belichick (the two became oddly close during the Pro Bowl in 2007). On Wednesday night, he already looked in sync with Brady on some important plays.

This article is right on.

It jibes with what I saw last night.

There will be alot of surprised fans around the league if these two perform to what is expected.......The fit seems to be there...let's hope the Pats get out of the gate fast and watch the enthusiasm make everything they do seem effortless.....If AH and Ocho are rejuvinated...this team will be scary good....

but that's just the homer in me......:D

I wonder if he's talking about Adalius?

Ocho is showing he wants to be here. Staying late after practice to get in sync with Brady. Haynesworth must be excited just the fact he is lining up next to wilfork. I would be happy to. Patriots have class, and it shows it that the first person ocho and haynesworth met first was Mr. Kraft. I hope the Patriots win a superbowl this season for Mr. Kraft and Myra Kraft!!

Thanks for sharing. a very fun read and it gives us fans that much more to be excited about! With Vince and Albert, this defense could take it to a whole new level. And with Ocho, our offense was already at the top of the league, but now it gets even BETTER? A scary thought for the rest of the NFL!! Paraphrasing Chad - what's there to celebrate? I'll score 30 f**n Tds!

And, up to this point, people had been saying how crappy the reporters from YAHOO Sports really are..

;)

I'm weeping after reading this!......I feel totally blessed to be a fan of this team for 50 yrs.:rocker:

Thanks for the great find.

This line brought a lump in my throat: "...the 70-year-old Kraft tears up at one point as he recounted their first date when he was 20 and she was 19."

that's funny because the line that brought a lump to my throat was moss going to kraft's house to mourn for myra. what a couple of softies. ;)

I wonder if he's talking about Adalius?

I don't think so. Adalius drank the Kool Aid first year and was the one who came out with the humble pie T-Shirts. I think the relationship soured later on. I suspect Reche Caldwell is one of the players BB was thinking about.

Ohhhh boy.

Must not get too excited. Must remain calm and even tempered. Must be rational.

The hell with it. I am getting really excited. You know it's over when I'm already thinking, "Well, if Kraft thinks Albert is ok......"
