Will Yeatman Scouting Reports!!!

#193 ~ TE ~ Will Yeatman ~ 6.6/270

178006194.jpg

Will Yeatman, in my view, has more Up Side than any classical ~ 90% Blocking/10% Receiving ~ Tight End in this Class.

He is raw as hell, but he is the prototypical size for the job, and he commands astonishing athleticism.

Will Yeatman is a ferocious Blocker who commands great natural dexterity ~ honed through years of playing LaCrosse!! ~ and who has only just tasted his incipient Navigational Liquidity in running the Route Tree.

He commands nothing less than All Pro Potential as a mauling, crushing traditional Tight End...and with surprising Agility and Instincts as a Receiver!!

And yet he projects as a Free Agent.

God Bless America.

I wouldn't get my hopes up here. He's not even listed in GBN's UDFA list:
Great Blue North Draft Report
Will Yeatman, Maryland, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

Bill's really trolling the bottom of the UDFA barrell so far.

Forgive me if I don't give a rat's @$$ that a Site that's too incompetent to list Will Yeatman doesn't list him.

It's failure to do so reflects badly on the Site, itself, not on Yeatman.

My Site already boasts a better Alexa rating that GBN, after 8 months, because I DO my homework, thank you very much.

And relying on GBN as a yardstick for a player's potential is as implicating of your acumen as is the fact that you've clearly never heard of the guy. :snob:

P.S.: Now Reiss informs that Yeatman's dad played lacrosse at the Naval Academy.
This is strictly a legacy signing, nothing more.

Yeatman, himself, played LaCrosse.

Nice research, pal.

How PATHETIC is it to vote down a thread, just because a guy shoved your nose it??? Awesome!!!

you know who else played lacrosse? Ohrnberger! Yeah, great track record.

This guy is first cutdown...they already have 2 blocking TEs in development.

1 ~ The only one "creative" enough to draw a correlation between LaCrosse and FootBall is YOU.

2 ~ Everyone knows he's P Squad material. Thanks for the Breaking News.

3 ~ If I needed any encouragement about his chances, you + Stone being down on him would be PLENTY!! :D

Just came back from the Patriots TC practice. It appears as if number 88 (Will Yeatman) knows how to get open, catch and use his body to shield-off defender. I was impressed with him more than number 80 (Lee Smith) and number 68 (Carson Buttler). Physically he appears to be bigger than number 87 (Gronk).

Good find OTG...love the enthusiasm...some people just need a douche whisperer...

GREAT input, Brother Prem!! :rocker:

Yeatman is, indeed, a previously hidden GEM!!

He brings a startling Fusion of Athleticism, Agility, Power, and FEROCITY to the Game, and I find it AMAZING that Coach Bill ~ despite his already ridiculously deep Tight End Depth ~ beat out 31 teams for him!!

For the record: The Immortal Brother Mayo has been onto Yeatman for as long as I have...and we both owe our awareness of his extraordinary potential to the outstanding work of Brother Wes Bunting of National FootBall Post...esquire.

Looks like Bill has taken a personal interest in the kid.

One crazy week | National Football Post

Great CATCH, Brother Scruff!! :rocker:

I did receive interest from 14 teams on TE Will Yeatman, so I had a good sense as to who was organized and who wasn’t. Since there were so many inquires about Will I took my time before selecting the team. I eventually chose the Patriots because Bill Belichick talked to me for 30 minutes describing his plan for Will in detail.

I was impressed by how much he knew about Will and how many people he spoke to, including his former Lacrosse coaches. It was a tough decision as there were other attractive opportunities but I knew I had the head coach invested in the client’s development.

It'll be interesting if Yeatman makes the roster and Lee Smith has to sit on the practice squad.

I'd hate to see them risk it.

More so, I would LOVE to have all 4 of those Hybrids on our Final 53!! :rocker:

Will Yeatman is a big, freakin dude. Didn't get a chance to shine. But, surely looks the part. BB likes big, tough players. We're going to have a ridiculously tough 2 te set very soon. How's this front 7 blocking?

Gronk - Solder - Mankins - Koppen - Cannon - Vollmer - Yeatman

They will literally be able to block out the sun. You have to play 8 in the box. CB's very soft coverage because safeties have to cheat up. Play action with Gronk torching a safety down the seam or the wr's in one on one coverage.

Or even better:

GRONK - Yeatman - Smith - Solder - Mankins - Koppen - Cannon - Vollmer - [WR off to the side]

Brady + Woodhead in the backfield

Now try and figure out where Woodhead's going :)

I am with you 1000%, gentlemen.

There is an IMMENSE Opportunity, here.

The League has gotten very FAST...

...But very SMALL.

True Hybrids ~ Tight Ends ~ who can block AND receive effectively...can be DEADLY.

And a team that can roll out 3 of these guys...???

...or...4...on a given play...???

Watch OUT.
