Her TC reports were always the best read of the day.
I will be active on Twitter (@MikeReiss), although not during each practice. The Patriots ask reporters for their cooperation in the following areas:
1. Not reporting on offensive or defensive strategy, which includes formations, personnel groups or non-conventional plays.
2. No quoting players or coaches during a practice.
3. Not reporting on practice until the session is over.
With training camp beginning just last Thursday, some may have thought it odd Bill Belichick gave his Patriots a day off on Monday.
But Belichick said Tuesday that the off-day was extremely beneficial. Not just for the players, but also the entire coaching staff.
“The day of yesterday was probably good for the coaching staff,” said Belichick. “It definitely gave us a chance to kind of get re-organized and take stock in what’s happened in the past week, and get a better plan going forward for some of the changes and the type of training camp that we’re running.
“We’ve seen our players – most of them – and we needed to have some sense of we’re they’re at, and kind of where things are going, what our priorities need to be in the next few days, and evaluate that and keep going forward here.
• More special teams work on Tuesday afternoon, and the unquestioned star was punter Zoltan Mesko, who delivered some absolute bombs that ended up going 70 yards or more. Brandon Tate, Julian Edelman and Taylor Price all worked as punt returners, while Pat Chung and Woodhead also got time as punt protectors. It’s incredibly early, but Mesko appears primed for a big season.
• The combination of Tom Brady and Wes Welker appear to be in midseason form. There were two plays that really illustrated how well the two operate together: One came on a goal-line passing drill where Brady lofted one just out of the reach of Chung — who was in coverage — and dropped it right into Welker’s arms. The second was on a deep ball down the right sidelines to Welker, another ball that just barely beat the defender (in this case, cornerback Jonathan Wilhite) and landed neatly in Welker’s grasp; two perfectly thrown balls.

Are you not paying the grunts?
We seemed to have have a critical shortage of traing camp/ practice reporting.
BEST "MOE & CURLY" IMITATION (OR LOVE HURTS)
The defensive linemen did a drill in which one player put his hands toward the other and tried to get them on his jersey. The player whose space was being violated needed to slap the hands away before they got contact. Kyle Love and Mike Wright were matched up for the drill and somehow when Love went to put his hands on Wright, Wright slapped them aside and went upside Love's head. And they laughed. My, how they laughed.
- The field was split into two halves for 1-on-1 drills for a portion of the practice, with Brady and Ryan Mallett throwing to receivers going against defensive backs, while Brian Hoyer threw to right ends and running backs going one-on-one with linebackers. One nice play on receiver/d-backs one-on-ones came when Taylor Price gained good separation from Malcolm Williams around the end zone on a pass from Brady. The crowd went nuts when Chad Ochocinco make a nice diving catch on Jonathan Wilhite.
Later in practice, the Brady and Hoyer threw to receivers and tight ends as they went up against linebackers. There was good physicality between Devin McCourty and Aaron Hernandez, with the cornerback simply outmuscling his fellow second-year player to break up the play. Hernandez made a fine catch over the middle later in practice on a skeleton drill that featured Brady and and five skill position players against seven defenders.

Part of it may be due to there being no practice on Monday. In addition I believe today's practice was the annual season ticket holder event and was closed to the general public.

It's not much, but 3 and a half minutes of info is better than nothing, right?
Off-day good for everyone | Danny Picard | CSNNE
However, I do agree that after the first two days of camp there have been far fewer fan-related reports than in the past. Not sure where Mrs. B is; last I looked no reports by her over at the Planet either.
So for the time being we'll have to rely on the people that actually get paid to write.
