I'm giving this guy the benefit of every doubt until he proves me wrong. I sure hope he keeps up the attitude and effort. He has the chance to be a force again, but we'll just have to see.

i hated the trade when it happened, but i am willing to give him a clean slate.

Haynesworth said that he saw the Patriots play the Charger in the AFC Championship game. He must of been a fan of the Patriots before he came into the NFL. If I was able to play for the team I love the most, I would give it my all and then some!! I am excited that Haynesworth is with us. I think he will be more of a situational guy than a 3 down lineman.

He's certainly saying the right things and showing enthusiasm, which is a significant step for him. It's also a good sign that he came in looking relatively svelte. Really, the only question at all with him was "is his head in it"? He's done everything he can to answer with an emphatic "yes". It's looking good. It's looking very good.
