We don't know if there will be a football season this year and even if there is, the schedule won't be out til late April or early May even in a best case scenario. If there is a season the Patriots Tailgate club will be purchasing group tickets

Lower level, visitor (Patriots) sideline for about $100 each.

Please vote on this poll if you are interested in purchasing tickets with us.

We're already well over 100 so if you believe in safety in numbers then this is probably the best way to go see a game in Oakland as an opposing team fan.

More info about this group ticket purchase can be found in recent message posts on the Yahoo Group.

I'll go to the game, but will sit with the Raider fans. It's more fun that way.

We are now collecting payments of $100/ticket with a hard deadline of 5/7. Join the Patriots Tailgate Yahoo Group for more info.

Last call for tickets. Payments must be received by Saturday as the actual purchase will be happening next week.

A small quantity of tickets are still available with our group block in section 146. Price is now $110 each and you'll be sitting with over 100 Pats fans behind the Pats bench.

Just curious how dangerous Raider fans are. I've never been to that stadium, but shudder to think they're as thuggy as Chargers fans.

I have never been there either, but from what I have heard, they are more thuggy than Chargers fans. I was told though by some Raider fans I know if I go to the game with them, I would be alright. But I would feel a lot better going with a group of Pats fans.

How easy is it to get to the stadium for the San Francisco area? Will cabs take you there pretty easily or is it a hassle?

BART will take you right there in about 30 minutes. We may even be "tailgating" in San Fran and then all taking BART over to the stadium together.

To maseda17: I got your private message but when I tried to reply it says that you do not accept PMs. Anyway a few tickets are still available at the moment.

Join the Patriots Tailgate Yahoo Group for all the info about the tickets we have purchase and how to send payment.

Having lived in the East Bay area and attended more than 10 Raiders' home games, I can attest to the thuggish nature of their fans/attendees. All I can suggest, is that you don't get into a verbal back-and-forth with them. You'll only find yourself arguing about the Snow Bowl or Spy Gate and we all know that never leads to anything fruitful.

Have fun taking the BART!

The best thing about the Raiders games are that they are convenient to get to. Unfortunately, you cram yourself into one of those BART cars and then have to do the long, slow walk across the bridge to get back on the BART to get back to (where ever).

Better than parking at the stadium and having to wait for traffic to clear. I can imagine that only 49ers' games are worse.

I have been to lots of Raiders games over the years. I always have a good time. I have some folks give me a hard time in the season ticket sections but I just smile and shrug at them. It's usually good natured. That last game there where it was pouring rain was all Patriots fans and gulls. The Raiders fans all left after the first quarter.

Seattle fans are worse by far.

Oops, my PM should be working fine now. Nonetheless, I submitted to join the Yahoo group.

That game was awesome!

A friend of mine is a season ticket holder and brought me along to the game with the terms that I not wear anything related to the Patriots. Stayed for the whole game along with a few other of fellow Patriot fans and relished the dominate performance.

I'll admit, I've been one of the homers that enjoy a bit of banter with fans wearing non-Raider gear (w/exception of Pat fans).

There are three tickets available with the group block in section 146 for $100 each. If interested, please join Patriots Tailgate Yahoo Group and then send me a PM.
PatsTG : Patriots Tailgate

Saturday Night Party - GO Sports Bar, 736 Washington St, Oakland, 6pm - 8pm

Sunday Morning "Tailgate" - Pacific Coast Brewery, 906 Washington Street, Oakland, starting at 9:45am and then taking BART to the Coliseum at 11 or 11:30am.

Hope to meet some of you there.

Charger fans? They're cup cakes compared to Raider fans. I'd exercise caution. Please feel free to PM and I'll give you details.
