Patriots Players in Today for Conditioning Runs
By: Ian Logue

After a long offseason, and short notice for a return to work, the players are reportedly in Foxboro this morning and are undergoing their conditioning runs....

Expect a record Pup-listers tomorrow...

Well, since they eliminated 2 adays...I think BB cuts back on the early conditioning run requirements and has another conditioning run that is tougher by next week....

Then again...maybe not ;)

i wanna see how many 53 man roster pats actually play in that preseason game. i feel like we'll see just about every other JAG who just got signed yesterday play in that game instead.

Hope Ron Brace makes it ..... :p

To be fair to Brace, after all the talk of conditioning runs and implied flabbiness, he was listed as injured and his photo showed a much better conditioned player than the doughboy of his rookie season.

Also, he played very well, though he got an elbow injury (obviously not conditioning related).

Thia year, he says he's got a personal trainer, so despite our impatience for him to emerge as a 16 gamer, the facts we've seen last year and this, lead to giving the benefit of the doubt as far as conditioning goes.

From the two photos that were released, it appears as if Chung was doing a 40 yd dash under a coaches stop watch and Woodhead was doing a three cone drill. From those it looks like basic baselining the players to start the new season.

Should be very interesting to see who is riding the bikes or working on their own on the sidelines tomorrow.

Cmon guys this is a professional football team, not a Varsity D3 team. They'll be fine. Its not like they did nothing for 4 months. It was only a run.

Ian Rappaport tweets that everyone who ran passed.

Ron Brace ran a sub-40 second 10.....
