I knew it was a hard schedule when I looked when they were 1st made, but DAMN... I thought last year was going to be a rough ride. This schedule is the hardest I have ever seen for the PATS in quite some time:eek:

the best part of the Schedule is the BYE WEEK in Week 7:eek:

i'll give my input soon enough I just copy pasted

I am going13-3 quick glance we had a hell of a yr last year. Miami can be defeated at their Lolphin stadium I like our WR/TE corps, but a lot hinders of FA'cy. If we pick up a significant body I will most definately need to amend

Asking for another 14-2 would be wrong. How many of these teams have new QB's and or coaches? I think it matters early on... Still plz let me know

The Giant and Philly games were tough to analyze. I went win heavy and hope that I am right :)

12-4 was the safe line... I am still going 13-3 for now.

why am I so win heavy??? b/c last year I thought we would struggle barely going 10-6/ 9-7 and went 14-2. We are 1 of the most experienced teams coming into this year. Our QB and Coach are the best. I love our Trip Tight Ends and still think other teams will struggle against this O.
My biggest flaw is not factoring in injury I never like to think of significant injuries so i exclude the possible happening. I think our D will be improved and RAS will be an impact player @ CB.

free agency hasn't even started, what's the point? Teams will be completely different after they sign and release players.

too early for me to predict. i'll hold off until we see what the pats and others, esp in the division, do in FA and then see how things come together across the league in Training Camps.

I'll play for fun, lighten up guys.

Week 1: Win
Week 2: Win
Week 3: Win
Week 4: Win
Week 5: Win
Week 6: Win
Week 7: Bye
Week 8:Win
Week 9: Win
Week 10: Loss (@ Jets)
Week 11: Win
Week 12: Loss (I envision Mike Vick going nuts on our D. Frustrating day I predict)
Week 13: Win
Week 14: Win
Week 15: Loss (Sloppy game of season @ Mile High. Tebow makes some lucky BS plays)
Week 16: Win
Week 17: Win

Pats start out 8-0 in impressive fashion, fans speculate if they can really go 16-0 again, Brady on fire, Jets take a piss on that parade on Sunday night at home, pats fall to 8-1.

Pats lose in a high scoring game to the Eagles, if they are big players in FA they could be the #1 seed in the NFC.

A sloppy loss @ Mile High. Pats finish 13-3 with #1 seed. :)

Until proven otherwise, 16-0
Then 15-1
etc.

Without even knowing what the team even looks like but hoping the running game is better so Brady isnt left doing everything. I'll predict a 14-2 with losses to the Jets (as usual) and another strange loss to the Raiders, just cause sh** happens at least once a season.

11-5

Key player gets hurt this year

As a shot in the dark, hmmmm...12-4.

Any more wins than that are gravy.

Bear in mind that last season we had the benefit of an offense that was changing during the season. Usually teams enter a season and gradually defensive coordinators accumulate enough game film to figure out the best approach to defend a given offense. Last year, we changed our offense much more than normal by jettisoning Moss, acquiring Branch, losing Faulk, picking up Woodhead, and using our TE's more. Opposing defenses were caught with their pants down. Game film from say week 1 of the season offered little for D-coordinators to glean. And that's not to detract from the fact that we had a good offense, but it certainly helped having that midseason element of surprise--a morphing offense. I don't think we can expect such a pronounced change again.

Let's see now. . . I wrote it down on a piece of paper. . . no cheating! 11 - 5. No matter what your record is at the end of the day, though, 1 and out for the win.

EDIT & P.S.: Woodhead will be the death of me, and to be perfectly fair - no cheating! - our loss.

lol 2 good seasons(never culminating in ****) and jets fans are all full of hot air.

Take a seat and watch how a real team is built.

13-3

I don't think we can expect such a pronounced change again.

I don't think you'll see a sudden morph, but I think that as GRONK and Hernandez become more comfortable, it'll become harder and harder for opposing Ds to avoid tipping their hands.

Thanks. The entire Jets organization has always had me one foot in the grave. May as well throw some dirt on it.

Been a Sox fan for 51 years...I've felt your pain.

I'll go with 13-3. The Pats don't really project to lose anyone important other than Light and Faulk. Gostkowski is coming back, Ty Warren is coming back, and our rookies and 2nd year players from last year will now be 2nd and 3rd year players coming into their own. Add the talent from the recent draft and the Pats are in great position.

Even if other teams improved, the Pats will improve as well. I think the only real lingering question is the pass-rushing issue but I expect us to add a vet to boost that once free agency begins. Passing game was more than adequate with Branch, Welker, and tight ends. The new emphasis on the rushing game will also alleviate pressure on league MVP Brady.

What can I say, I expect nothing less than a division title and a deep playoff run. This team will be a SB contender barring any serious injuries.

Based on the way the Patriots played the latter half of the season, I think all those teams on the schedule can be beaten if you include the fact that the Pats will have addtional rookies and FAs, but it just feels awkward for me to type 16-0. To be realistic, I'll say 12-4. Loss to the Colts, Chargers, Jets and Eagles.

14-2 Would be 15-1 but the Pats starters will only play about half of the last game.
