Well, athough I haven't broken down tape (hey Box, you and Pats 1 looking for partners in crime? ), it did seem to my untrained eye that both tackles were outmanned desperately, and Brady never really seemed to have time to set, make reads and throw. He seemed to be moving in the pocket much more than normal and throwing off his front foot alot. It did also seem that no adjustments to this increased pressure were made to buy Brady more time. I did not notice either Pass or Faulk kept in often enough to pick up the free pass rusher coming off the edge. And It seemed that the TE's were running far too many routes and not double teaming the DE's coming off the end often enough.
This was a day where the WR's needed to carry the load of catching Brady's passes and the TE's and backs were needed for blocking duties. To me, the fact that these adjustments were not made indicate a lack of confidence by the coaching staff in the WR's that one of three could consistently get open on every pass play.
Well it is my very unprofessional opinion that I would personally rather see incomplete passes thrown to the second row than Brady on his ass all day.
Just my first pass based on what I saw live, without breaking things down further.
