I don't even want to call them the Patsies, they are just too sad for that. They're like the stray dog you see on the street, your heart just breaks. "I hope someone will give him a home! He looks so nice! Poor doggy!"

I don't know what they can do to improve. You get beat like this, it's hard to pull out anything positive.

And is there another team in the league that is this boring? I mean really.

Jacksonville, Houston, Tennesee. I could see them losing 2. If they lose 3 they could, yes, not even make the playoffs!

At least they'd get a good draft pick?

This is (obviously) the last time the Patriots play a game in that stadium this year. With the Jets coming on hard, I think we're wildcard bound to be honest. This team is terrible.

Brady is making time. Either he forgot how to read a defense or the WR's aren't getting open. The running game is as good as expected vs Miami.

Just another pathetic effort in the sad 2006 campaign. This is the worst they've played in years. Pretty sad that we'll point to this game when we wonder when we lost the division at the end of the year to the Jets.

Today is a bad day for the patriots,No doubt. :( :( :(

This is the worst offensive performance I can recall watching. Any game, any team, any level. Miami is running full blitzes every play and the recievers are just running their routes like nothing is happening.

The D deserves alot of credit though. With the position the offense has put them in it could be alot worse.

Yes,Our receivers are sleeping on the field.

you're right the pats are looking pretty sad. Im just looking towards next year. Not only can we not beat a good team, we cant beat an average team.

We all knew this would happen if they played as badly as they did last week - I thought we just played badly last week but it's two in a row now. Until they show otherwise, the Patriots just aren't that good.

not a championship caliber team...rebuilding year on offense from the start...you need receivers...get the hell out of town deion we don't need you...yeah, whatever...you have to play against actual defenses in January, teams that play like Miami, maroney had been hiding the obvious, that we have no passing game...all season we kept reading about how Reche is the new go-to guy, or Gabriel...YOU CAN'T REPLACE SIX YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A FEW WEEKS...injuries now mounting too...sad way to throw away an extremely promising season with all the other pieces in place...won't have too many rosters this strong again...the team totally misread the branch situation ...ben watson is the least reliable TE I've ever seen (he's the answer?)...sorry to sound like Borges but nobody was more optimistic than I was before the season...but the pathetic way we're petering out is hardly hindsight from this perspective. it's not coaching, not effort, not playcalling (not that there's nothing to criticize there either)...fundamentally, the straw was the FO sponsored gamble on this decayed shell passing game...a sin with a QB like this...we'll never know how good we might've been

Gotta love that a loss and even thinks its all over. Miami always plays us tough. We could win the last 3 easily we'll win the divison and make it to the CC and pobably even the SB it's on game people. And lets face facts any other team loses the people we have and they are luck if they are 500

Alright ... Enough already! Buck up, little campers ... we will still win the division ... this was the LOW point of the season, and Brady will step up in the locker room and then on the field next week ... I think that we haven't had motivation this season with this division that was supposed to be so bad after the Pats ... with the Jets now on our tails, we will pick it up and start making plays ... expect a blowout next week ... the defense is playing pretty well, but the offense will get it together ... so, let the negativity (or your so called "reality") end now ... WE WILL BE OK!!!

get ready for all the naysayers and the threads that start:

Time to Fire McDaniels
A thread lamenting the loss of Givens and Branch
Is Teddy Bruschi too old?
The offensive game plan sucked..

Bottom line is a mediocre team who knows us played extremely well today, and our team which is pretty good played absolutely crappy today. Let you know next week the effect of this loss... right now hard to tell.

I appreciate your optimism and effort to cheer us up but it is OVER. Win the division probably; win a playoff game maybe; win the Superbowl no way!!!! Today's loss was so bad I can no longer deny reality. The 2006 Patriots do not have what it takes to win Superbowl 41. Our offense is anemic; we are turn over junkies and after today we have "No Heart".

Well, I guess I will have to find some other things to keep me busy. I will still watch and follow our team but now it won't matter to me what other teams do. Our fate is sealed.

OK - so we didn't blow the division today after all. The sky is not falling - we actually still have an outside chance for a bye.

I am not going to panic - Patriots are not as bad as they played today.

Lots of players injured and they all should return by month's end - including Harrison.

See y'all in the playoffs......relax.

We need Rodney back this week.

If we finish 3-0, with tough road wins at Jax and at Tenn, I might think we could make a run.

We need Rodney back this week.
We should be able to beat Houston without him but we need him and Maroney soon - not to mention Watson and Wilfork.

Look around the league....San Diego is the only team right now without major question marks. I'd rather be in our position than pretty much anyone else's (save SD).
