One word post for what you think......(10 chars)

GUILTY :D

Both sides suck!

Nolo contendere.

Has there been a breakdown in the talks or is this an old topic?

The title is a hint at a big news story, this thread will be moved soon. :D

Absolutely. Before I even clicked on the link I went over to Breer's Twitter account and all he was writing about was the Anthony verdict (which I'm guessing this is a take-off on).

I award you no points for this thread.

Not looking for points...just opinions ;)

Right now, with the silly "we won't say anything publically, we will just "leak" things that make our side look good", it's really hard to tell who's doing what. Last I heard they agreed on a 52% share for the players in a straight revenue split, and the owners were trying to tack on different addendum. At the heart, how can you blame anyone other than the owners? They opted out of the CBA, and they created this mess. No other way around that fact.

the owners are never going to give in to more then 60% of what the players fully want and the players will never get a deal done as long as DeMaurice Smith is leading the talks

The owners arent murdering the talks.

They cant give the players everything they want. Both sides need to compromise.

This thread is a terrible pun on the Casey Anthony verdict and has no relation to football. It should be locked or banished or both.

You should ask Ian to install the "ignore thread" option in the thread tools.
