Favorite Belichick Moment

Two of them are in my sig. (I think being doused with his Dad is one of BB's favourite "Belichick moments" and the Press conference before the Raiders game will always live in my memory.)

But then there's this: YouTube - ‪Cooking with Bill Belichick‬‏

This moment was pretty cool:

Has to be the scintillating playoff games in 09 and 10, when the team came out meticulously prepared for everything the opponent had to throw at them and with a fire not seen since Sherman turned Atlanta into a blazing hell on earth...

I'm loving all of these, but I liked it when Felger began a question with "Correct me if I'm wrong..." and BB interjected "I can't wait".

That has to be one of MY FAVORITES.. !!! :rocker:

Feel free to continue to waste your entire life, wallowing in bitterness and misery, while the rest of us drink from the bottomless cup of Glory that Coach B and his merry men have provided. :D

Coach Bill has gone on the record as saying that cutting Milloy the way he did WAS a mistake, and one he regrets.

And I thank the Gods for that, because I truly could not have admired the man as much as I do, had he not done just that.

I don't have a favorite Belichick moment any more than I have a favorite Clint EastWood moment: I prefer to savor the entire Body of Work.

Well noted, but there you go! Another favorite Belichick moment!

Of course I was referring to the end result of the Milloy cut. Belichick clearly felt at the time that was the right message to send. Perhaps we need to give some credit to Tom Jackson for the team's ultimate reaction of pulling together as one of the most dominant defenses (and the highest scoring) in the league - but you can't argue with the end result of Belichick's decision that season.

There are lots of fans in a great many NFL cities that would willingly give body parts for One Lombardi trophy (Philly,SD) let alone three with six SB appearances. There are cities that have not even sniffed playing in a Super Bowl ( Cleveland) or not played in one since Nixon was President 40 years ago ( NYJ, Chiefs). Other cities pine for the long since glory ( Den,Oak).
It wasn't that long ago that Patriots fans were on the outside looking in like those teams. Enjoy the run, we never know how long it will last.......There will be bumps in the road but I for one am not complaining.

Exactly what I was referring to...THIS is my favorite Belichick moment. I get to see it often, and it never ceases to pump me up. It also allows us the PRIVILEGE of getting to see one of the alltime greatest coaches ever in the history of the game in full-fledged action, and represents the whole 'team' concept of everyone paying attn, doing their jobs and knowing their assignments.

To me, it's on the exact same plane as seeing Lombardi do the same.

GREAT shot, Bro.

LOVE that shot.

If anyone every doubted Coach Bill's Passion, this, alone, should obviate that notion.

Damned right, it is.

4x4, Brother Fly.

Perfect.

The one time I heard BB say something live, in person: I was at the Pats @ Buffalo game last year and had seats about five rows up behind the Patriots bench. The Patriots had a comfortable lead, yet late in the game the offense started sputtering -- a couple stupid penalties, incomplete passes, etc. There was a timeout (don't recall if BB called it), and BB went onto the field to huddle with the offense. A few players on the sideline who weren't in uniform started to walk out with him and join the huddle to hear what the coach was saying. BB spun around and yelled at them, "GET THE F*CK OUTTA HERE!"

I thought it was remarkable that BB was that intense in a game that was in the bag, as was the conference's best record. I think he was just pissed that the offense might've been getting lazy and he didn't want that to carry over into the playoffs. Interesting moment.
