Seems a change of hospitals/doctors has led to a brighter prognosis and possibly the transplant he has needed. Underscores why one should always seek a second opinion. Seems a faulty pacemaker was exacerbating his medical/heart condition, he is back to coaching including Tommy and Edleperson late last week and he is scheduled for a kidney transplant in the near future.

QB tutor Tom Martinez back from brink, on sideline

Great quote about giving his students quarters. He will never call them because they may be comfortable doing what they are doing. If they aren't they should use the quarter and he will give them another... Tom keeps using his. Jamarcus still has the first...

This is tremendously good news. Hope the guy makes it. He's relatively young and has a lot more to contribute and a lot more life to enjoy.

Pretty sure that Russell left his in the house that was foreclosed upon.. The Bank's got it now..

Glad to hear that Martinez is doing better and that the prognosis is significantly brighter.

"he studied the science of throwing the ball - using sagittal motion, or over the top and in a straight line down, does wonders for accuracy - and the keys of footwork and weight shift. Martinez was a math teacher for a while, and he breaks down the technique of dropping back and moving the ball across your chest like an equation."

Another cerebral guy congruent with BB's philosophy.
Injury allowing, Brady with his constant attention to detail should have a long career here.

Makes me wonder if TFB has had a talk with a certain third-rounder yet about Mr. Martinez. . . .

Well, Brady-clone!Edelman is certainly less creepy than PornStache!Edelman or mini-OL!Edelman. . . .

I was very happy to read this report yesterday. It's always good to hope, even when things look pretty dark.
