Reiss " I would not be surprised to see the commonly used “Sorry, my account was hacked” garbage that many pro athletes and celebrities resort too."

Why not? It's totally working for congresscritter Anthony Weiner, q.v. Weinergate, why not for Love?

All I have to say is perhaps Belichick looking for intelligent players only applies to maybe the first 4 or 5 rounds ... other than that ... MEH.

Actually Brandon was the voice of reason, advising Love to think before tweeting.

Twitter link
KL: People say I take Twitter to serious, obviously not
BM: Lmao boy u wild but be chilling do say to much please

For those asking for a link to Love's comments here you go: Kyle Love on Twitter

I guess BM learned his lesson. I'm sure he took some heat for his posts about being drunk, etc.

Look at the bright side. They're learning how to spell and speak proper English.
This is what amazes me the most; the consistent butchering of the English language. Surely a year or two in college teaches you at minimum grammar and spelling.

Me is gona go bak in da krib and txt de sluz playaz. Pzzzzzz.

Yeah, let's not hold anyone accountable for their words and be apathetic about it.
How could you be anything but apathetic about what an end of the roster 23 year old writes on Twitter?
It's sillly. His job is to play football, why is this type of stuff even a story? And I know in our politically correct society, it is, I'm saying it shouldn't be.

Andy, I would recommend that you read the Twitter thread. Might change your opinion.

I read it thinking there'd be some pretty crazy stuff there. I was very surpised at how tame it was. Unless there was stuff removed, if that twitter thread is that "crazy" to you, you need to change your perscription.

Looks like some of the FU, FU stuff is gone. The S my D stuff is still on there. Not for me, but I'm not begrudging anyone else's taste. Just not for me.

Like it or not, a lot of young kids follow the Pats players on Twitter also. This is not for them either.

The real question is how do Myra, Bob & Jonathan Kraft feel about it ? My guess is they don't feel he is representing the Patriots product well.

After reading his page, I'm not sure why this is a huge deal. Yeah, Kyle Love is an idiot: is anyone really shocked to learn that?

How so? If you mean the comments he made, I read them, and thats what my opinion is based upon.

Even with the F bombs this is not substantively different from TFB who has been known for years to toss F bombs with impunity, as does his coach(s). I for one am NOT surprised that Love posts like a brainless jock.

Yea I agree, not the best thing to post but I doubt too many kids are following Kyle Love. If it was Tom Brady or Peyton or Chad it'd be a bit different.

Chad Jackson has a Twitter?

Tom isn't insecure or self absorbed enough to be on Twitter I guess...

I'm not either but I bookmarked a list someone here once posted of football tweets he followed for actual football news and it's amazing what a juvenile bunch of nitwits it turns even many seemingly intelligent people into. I don't know what's more annoying...morons like Love spewing garbage or jock sniffing self promoters like Jay Glazer hawking his MMA empire or a once significant journalist like Michael Smith sparring with fanboy strangers half the night or Jason LaConfora tweeting incessantly from DisneyWorld for the last 48 about his toddlers repeated meltdowns...

Twitter says a lot about us as a society and unfortunately it's not terribly encouraging...

Twitter going down would be a wonderful thing for society. Seriously, what good has it done? It gives people an open forum to put their foot in their mouth. Does Mr. Love really need to tell us about the lame guy recycling singles at the strip club? Do we need to listen to the Jersey Shore nimwits? TO? Ocho Cinco? There should be an IQ requirement for opening an account, accompanied with a breathalyzer before posting.
