That can't be Randy. That guy called him a "very nice guy" :lol2:

Bet he would look nice dressed up in Patriots colors again but this time only to be serving up Gatorade to the players when needed.

Sweet photo.

Sign him!

Randy gets along with some people....just not caters and parking maids.

Or team owners and sponsors in the Northeast. The store is in W. VA... The guy probably comped him the game for the photo... Randy is focused on promoting Randy the endorsement king... This may net him more free games or an endorsement deal with a gaming developer...

I'd have no problem bringing him back for training camp to see what he's still got left.

Is there a new video game coming out called 'Dog Faker'? :D

I know Moss is tall, but that guy is TINY!

How do we know that isn't woody the mysterious caller ;)

I always joked that, when the time came, Pats fans would turn on Moss with mind-boggling speed. This thread proves it. Be glad that he's gone and think that his ego outweighs his skill, sure, but why all of the personal stuff against him? He only set the all-time single season TD record in a Patriots uniform, and was only one of the 2-3 most important players in a 16-0 season.

Joke. Yeah, that's how I'd describe it too. I loved Moss when he was here playing his best and making an effort each game. But that time was gone. Go back and youtube his week one post game pc and tell me he deserves MY respect.
Now he claims, "The loyalty that I believe in, man, I think that teams that I play for ... I just like loyalty, and I want that around me.
Sorry, but Randy was in year 3 of a 27 mil contract. Do the math, he was making 9 mil and upchucking into the Pats "Team Goals" Pats fans gave him nothing but cheers for 3 years, and he OWED us.

In this case it's a goes around comes around thing. I never thought Randy was a fit for this system. He eventually proved me right. Does that mean we never should have signed him? I don't know. Felger certainly though so, likened it to selling ones soul... On the field it appeared to work brilliantly for the better part of one season. A season for the ages that ended in disappointment. Kind of like Moss' overall tenure here. Year 2 I guess it worked on the field as well as could be expected given the circumstances. Thing is I could see it starting to fray around the edges even then, kinda had to pull that season out of Moss because his first instinct was to bail saddled with Cassel as his QB. Year 3 with Tommy battling back from his ACL surgery I would have hoped to see Randy really step it up. Instead Tommy spent most of that season imploring someone to push through whatever ailed him... Then of course it was year 4 and all he wanted to talk about was his shoulders that supposedly could carry the world and how he felt a little disrespected that the people who rescued him from the black hole didn't want to show him the money again. I think sometime between the sponsor's dinner fiasco and his week 1 presser they (Bob, Bill, Tommy and even the fans) began to appreciate what it must have felt like to be the agent who stuck by him his whole career, only to be canned in favor of someone willing to assure him he was a sponsors dream endorser...

Spot on, excellent post. I'd love to see him back here even in a much reduced role. I'll never forget what he did in 2007 and for me he is a Patriot and one of the greatest ever to play in the uniform.

Sadly some people just love to hate, and then you have those who hate when they are wrong about somebody. So even after his great season and two other very good seasons they just say they were always right about him.

I didn't get that vibe from this thread at all, with exception to one or two people. The fact that so many liked your post says to me many Pats fans are still fond of Moss.

I don't necessarily want him back, but I like the guy and I appreciate what he did for this team. He was historically good for us.
