NFL.com news: Titans GM Reinfeldt believes Moss 'will probably go elsewhere'

"I would entertain coming back to Minnesota," Moss said, "but if you're asking me where my heart is, I think just the success as a wide receiver and everything the New England Patriots stand for -- I'm a big fan of Bill Belichick, I really am. Not just on the field. I'm a fan of his off the field, because the little grouchy man that you see on camera is not what you see off camera. ...

Oh the poor guy. I feel bad for him, I really do. But I don't think he's going to ever find a way to get back "home".

Angel Lucifer, cast out of Heaven, forever trying...

I will always like Moss. I think he finally realized what he had after he was traded. I would love to have him back but I don't think he is a good football player anymore. Of course, people have said that about him before...

It would be great to get him back and not just to aggravate Felger. He would be a good role model for the other WRs and could give Ras-I the same wake up call he gave McCourty! If he comes back he has to realize that his role on the field will be diminished...I guess...

You know, as a guy who was PRAYING that we'd Franchise Trade him, after the record setting 2007 Campaign ~ say, to Snyder for 2 consecutive 1st Rounders?? Don't even PRETEND he would've hesitated!! :D ~ and who RABIDLY opposes building O's around such players...I could definitely see the older, wiser ~ and slower but steadier?? ~ version of Moss actually transmogrifying into a solid ASSET to this team!!

Please God no. Brady was a thousand times better without Moss to stare at. I swear they traded Moss simply so Brady would realize he has other receivers on the field. He was using Moss as a complete crutch and became more of his old self when Moss was tossed. Unless Moss takes a minimum deal and agrees to forfeit his life if he doesn't keep his mouth shut i don't want to see him.

Not that there is really any chance after he attacked the Krafts.

Brady had the best season in NFL history by any QB in 2007 and Moss was his favorite target. This is why this argument that Brady is better without Moss makes no sense.

While Moss definitely isn't what he was, he could still help the Patriots out. He showed early last year that he still has the ability to stretch defenses and that is what the Patriots lack right now. I think he could definitely help the team out, and I think he would have a completely different attitude after seeing what else is out there and just how good the Patriots organization is. I have said it a few times that all Moss wants now is a ring and I believe he will do anything in his power to do so.

I think part of the reason Brady was so locked in on Moss early in the season was because Moss was becoming more of a diva. I think if Moss' attitude was better this wouldn't have been a problem.

Moss-Welker-Branch is better than Welker-Branch-Tate. Even with a lost step Moss will offer the Pats more than Tate IMO.

A lot of people have argued that his 2010 season was better then 2007. And we all know stats are for losers.

I would love to see Moss back in the Patriots lineup, or, at the very least, in camp to see what he has.

He knows what it's like now outside of the "family". Let the prodigal son come home and let's see what he still has.

Can Moss serve up the Gatoraid to the players, because if he is on our sidelines I would hope that's the only reason he is there.

Moss isn't even in conversation when talking about the latest best top WRs

He once WAS one of the best and aside from Jerry Rice he was the most feared player a corner would have nightmares thinking of covering all game, now he's just a washed up pest.

Retire gracefully Randy, you are going to embarrass yourself sticking around too long after the game has left you.

I cant be the only one who gets flash backs to the drive-killing forced passes to Randy..
If BB brings him back it's because he thinks Brady will treat him as just another open wideout, not prioritizing to curb the vocals of Moss in a replay of last season.

Yeah, no way that's gonna happen!! Especially not with the past 2 drafts and their aspect on the changing offense.

If Randy came back (which would NEVER happen), it's b/c Belichick is going to use him primarily as a decoy, to try and stretch the field. Even then, I'm sure Brady would end up with an extra additional 4-5 INT's somehow trying to force the ball to him anyway. On top of that, he doesn't usually block for anything, and that would be a big part of what we'd need him to do--of course. It's one thing when you're catching 80-90 balls, and drawing double coverage--it's another thing when you choose not to block AND aren't really producing at all. But then, it's a whole OTHER thing, when you aren't producing, don't block, bring your traveling media circus, AND force Brady to throw terrible picks..I just don't see it.

I'm sure there will be some team somewhere that would offer him at least a couple-few million still. I doubt he'd get that here even if BB actually wanted him. I can't see any way that Belichick would want Moss, or his traveling media attention. That's pretty much the opposite of what I believe he's going for.

 Amazing what certain fans refuse to see.... A good role model??? Yeah that's why Belichick threw him off the team mid-season.

Adam why don't you join the pats instead? Solve the deep threat and the pass rush all at once  .

Why?

The 2010 offense got us a one and done, the 2007 offense got us to the Superbowl ?

Only Moss had next to nothing to do with that. He had 2 receptions for 32 yards and no TD's in the playoff games preceding that superbowl.
