I'm curious of this scenario because we just touched upon our successes within rounds of the NFL draft.

Any concrete evidence to support these claims??? claiming practice. squad players from other teams is much different than our picks and the NFL draft. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers love stealing our talent.curious... How have we been?

I've never seen any statistics regarding the success rate of undrafted free agents, practice squad players, or players claimed from another team's practice squad - just anecdotal stuff when a team happens to have a player that fits one of those categories (e.g., Stephen Neal, James Harrison or LeGarrette Blount.)

As for Tampa Bay, I would say that if they're signing a lot of practice squad players then to me that is more a sign of lack of depth (and perhaps injuries) than anything else. But let's not overstate their 'raiding' the Patriots' practice squad: they signed Tyrone McKenzie off the PS, and Ted Larsen was claimed off waivers; he never made it onto the Pats' PS - that's the extent of it.

They didn't even sign McKenzie of the PS. He was released by the Pats from their PS at his request. He was unhappy and wanted to move closer to home, so he approached the team about getting his release and they let him go at his request.

He then signed with TB on their PS, where he could be much closer to his Florida home. TB later activated him to the roster off their PS.
