One of the rookies let it slip that he got the number of a veteran running his own mini-camp thing. I don't know who was the vet and I forget which rookie. (Hey, I don't know them by voice yet.)
I assume every team has something like that, but NY media thinks the Jets and Giants are special.

thanks for the info, im in NJ so I hear more about the Jets and Giants but Im sure most players are working out in some way.
Woodhead wouldn't say whether he was working out with teammates.
"We're just trying to keep each other accountable and get ready for the season and just expect there is a season," he said.
Belichick has taught these guys well. They definitely need to be getting together, but they definitely don't need to be letting the media know that it's going on.
Mayo & Brady have both made allusions to working out with the team.
In fact, I think Brady said something about having to figure out which high schools to meet at. He has been in Boston and the Northeast quite a bit of late.
The workouts also might hurt (and certainly don't help) the players in their lockout efforts. The players are saying that the lockout is the worst thing ever because they don't get to work out/play football/learn the offense, and then the Judges and their clerks turn on ESPN and Sanchez is running Jets West with the whole team working out/playing football/learning the offense.
