Whatever an untrained YouTube evaluation is worth.....

First thing...the dude gets from zero to 60 VERY fast. Seems to be able to get real small to get through small gaps. Tough...bounces off of folks...likes contact. Decent hands.

Only negative...runs a little too upright.

Poor man's Terrel Davis.....who if you recall was also a converted fullback who was lost behind flashier people.

Here's hoping.

in that case I hope our line can cut block.

Wow, he does not look like a 4.65 guy. I've got big hopes for this guy along with Vereen.

check out his clip on lesmiles.net

But can he pressure (and sack) the QB?

wait 'til they sign mankins and roll solder and cannon out there --- our rb's will look like emmitt smith.

But he is a 4.65 guy. Very quick. Great cuts. Great burst. Loves contact. Runs downhill carrying would be tacklers...but no breakaway speed to bust the big run. Like I have been hinting at but not outright saying, he is a good stiff arm away from being Dillon in his first season here, after Cory had lost that half step to break big runs but was still lethal. Good news...this kid has years before he slows down.

love his instincts when approaching the line of scrimmage......not a dancer, but has the patience to have a hole open up.......love his lateral shifting in order to get past the LB.....minimizes contact, keeps him going forward.....not sure how well that will translate versus NFL LB's but a good start.

the only thing that bothers me is how much footage there is of him running out of the shotgun......I was hoping the pats would go away from that

Eh, skip the first 4:15 because it shows him against 3 teams that basically play no defense and can't tackle.

4.65 is not slow for a decent size RB. Not at all.

What I like is the number of fumbles this kid has: zero.

.....the other thing I like is he doesn't play in some MiddleWestCentralRiverValley Conference.

That's a 1000 yards and close to 5 ypc in the SEC. Not that shabby.
