He's being put on a backboard and carted off right now. He sat up at first, but has been down now for a few minutes. They just put him in an ambulance.

(Now Tatum Bell is injured and is helped off the field -- looks to just have gotten the wind knocked out)

Re: Denver's LB Wilson severely injured

Which reminds me, did anyone see the Detroit trainer feel for Fernando Bryant's pulse and put his head to his chest when he first ran out there, or was that just me?

That was scary.

I'm sure that was just procedural (like taking immobilizing Wilson and taking him to the hospital).

I hope hes going to be okay. A classy guy, you'd hate to see that happen to anybody.

Re: Denver's LB Wilson severely injured

No one likes to see ANY player injured, no matter what the team. However, as I have said, I would make an exception if some opposing player ACCIDENTLY rolled out of bounds and took Shanahan down, hard. Accidently, of course.

Get over yourself.

From the replay it didn't look like there was anything that clearly caused it. It's just one of those freak things.

You disgust me.

They're calling it a neck sprain so far, Michaels reports.

They're calling it a "sprained neck."

Update on wilson, they say is able to move everything...good deal....pats1..question,how do you take screenshots of the game like that?

Re: Denver's LB Wilson severely injured

Well, if thats the case, then an awful lot of posters in this forum must disgust you too, cause many have said the same thing. You need to lighten up and stop looking for an excuse to come after me. Actually, its kind of nice that you spend so much time doing it.....makes me feel good to know that it gets to you.

I didn't come after you, I just think it's disgusting that you would wish some OL would roll into somebody and take out their knees. It's a game, don't take it so seriously that you would wish harm upon someone.

Yep anybody who posts something like that is disgusting - including you.

I really don't see how you can 'feel good' about drawing criticism for insensitive comments.

Yeah, it 'gets' to me too, ya know, because I actually give a care about other people.

His own guy hit the pile (way late of course - it's the cheap shotting Broncos)
and snapped his head to the side.

It's exactly what happened to Fernando Bryant - late hit by his own guy. It happened right in front of me, and he was out cold. The Pats receiver (Caldwell ?) whom he tackled immediately called for the trainers. His arm was laying out to the side and didn't move for a couple of minutes. My Dad was said it reminded him of Darryl Stingley.

Ya, I'd like to know that myself. Thats pretty cool, we could use something like that to show the horrible calls.
