It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I had heard that this guy was not a high character pick, but I didn't know any specifics-guess this counts. Wasn't sure why the Pats passed him over but this is probably a strong indication.
Some players that were drafted already beat these type of charges. Take Phil Taylor. He defaced a kid a Penn State. He got off.
I bet there are several picks that have the same history as Ellis. Some of these guys are just goons.
Well, these charges are only one incident in Ellis' dubious college career. This happened after he was thrown out of South Carolina for repeated violations.
he got attacked by a man with a bat, and broke the guys nose.
he also had other **** he did, but what made me like the kid was that, his mother had a heart attack, and ever since then he has made a 180 in his life.
calm down. i could give a **** what you think. im not coming here to cover up for the kid. the bat reference is not a lie actually, and he was defending a female when he beat the hell out of the dude with the bat.complete bullcrap...the "man" was a 5'8" 140 pound dweeb..and your bat reference is an OUTRIGHT LIE....here...read what Ellis himself said today...and stop printing your weasely lies on this board...

When asked specifically what happened at the University of South Carolina, which dismissed him after his freshman year, he said. “I thought I was somebody I wasn’t. I was very young and immature. I was hanging out with a bad crowd.”

Here is a quote from a JI board moderator:
If he does that to Tom Brady I'll have a Kenrick Ellis statue errected outside the New Meadowlands Stadium
Seems like Ellis is a perfect fit for Jets fans.
Oh, and they a have a large thread going on there on the Patriots draft.

Let's not be overly righteous about 3rd round picks who find themselves on the wrong side of the law shall we?
