For the end of the year and the guys you are all blasting about being drafted have made huge contributions to a very successful team.

Ill be sitting back enjoying watching posters eat some major crow.

What are the parameters of this bet?

loser has to eat pubes and post it on youtube hahahahaha

I say 3 of the players drafted will be starters or significant contributors.

It's not a bet, if I lose ( and I hope I do) ill eat a crow, but you can eat pubes if you so chose.

I'm with you. There's a reason none of the posters here have Belichick's job

Keep waiting....if we are winning games it will be because of Brady and not the "great" talent we have hauled in this draft.

It would have been that way no matter who the Pats drafted. Nobody picked after 28 would have been an instant upgrade anywhere.

Best post today was a poster bring up everything people were saying negativley about mccourty last year... We are all lounge chair critics and very rarely do we admit when we were wrong but are very quick to critisise. Have some perspective that we are a 14-2 team. BB obviously didn't like the Talent in this draft as much as we all did and moved picks into next year.

Some posters just can't take the fact their binky wasn't picked.

I'll gladly admit i'm wrong...after day 2 i'm worried though. I don't see much improvement.

perhaps there wasnt much to improve

Random---all we did was move the picks into next yr, giving us the exact same situation again. We are playing with house money. THERE IS NO WAY TO LOSE. If they don't work out, nothing is wasted. If they do, ALL THE BETTER!!

We got a huge protector for our most important piece of the puzzle, a potential breakaway RB who can catch, run, and block. Stole the highest rated QB (on our board anyway), and someone who was projected to go in the first round by many...in the THIRD round. He has a rocket for an arm, and a HOF QB to learn under. It may also improve the immediate need of a backup QB within the next yr or so, at worst we carry 3 QB's again.

Also picked up a potentially good, tall and athletic CB, who would have gone higher had he not experienced injury. He instantly adds potential for a younger, faster, and more future-based secondary + adds to special teams.

Think positive.

I would have to agree that there has been an improvement. As stated above Solder, Dowling and Vereen all upgrade our roster. For the future, Mallett should either have value as a player or as a QB to trade similar to Cassel. I'll just have to see Ridley in there before I make a determination, but I like his size. Could be a beast or a bust.
