Yup. Unless Cunningham can break up this amazing tandem, this is what we'll be looking forward to.

Yup, get ready for alot of mediocre quarterbacks posting BIG #s against this "defense" again, Like Flynn and Sanchize last year. If this defense doesn't replicate their incredible turnover ratio from last year, we're looking at a bottom 10 defense. Take away that ridiculous turnover ratio from last year and last year's team is 9-7 or 10-6 with a defense ranked in the bottom third in just about every category....

Actually, its ninkovich and cunningham as far as i remember
banta by the end of the season became more situational.

the only thing i see BB has selected players in position who can play even with limited camp /ota

While I'm scratching my head (well cursing) like most of you. The draft is only a portion on how they build their team. There is Free Agency and Trades. This will occur at some point.

There's this new-fangled thing called free agency that just got introduced to the NFL.

Twenty years ago.

And Cunningham is already one of the starters.

There is free agency...
But I can't honestly remember the last time I've been this disapointed with BB.

Defense Schmeefense....we're the New England Colts and always remember that our heritage as Colts is to put up sweet numbers in the reg season and then get exposed when it counts.

I don't think BB would draft players based on a one year dilemma like the possibility of not having the usual amount of OTAs or camp. That would be extremely short-sighted. And as we all know, BB's not a short-sighted guy. He may be crazy, but not short-sighted.

So it's either Ninkovich/Cunningham, or Ninkovich/Banta-Cain.

Wow, what a $h!ty feeling.

So who are our FA possibilities?

No one Krafty would pay for....they'll get some guys on the Wrong side of 30+ like Dhani Jones or Takeo Spikes...those type of guys are right up the Pats alley.....

I like Jermaine Cunningham. He was playing well as a starter last season, even though he only had 1 sack.

Ninkovich, however, is not starter material so BB better find someone in free agency.

LOL..............I was thinking the same thing today. Brady got four more assets for the offense and Wilfork got an injury prone CB who we hope can stay off of IR.

I'm REALLY hoping we get Kiwanuka or Manny Lawson. Either of them would (alongside Cunningham) instantly make our OLB's slightly above average...which I think is all we need.

Cunningham, Tully, Ninko, and Moore are there and can get things done you improved secondary with Dowling and you are getting Bodden and Warren back on the D why key on not getting a rookie OLB. I like the draft especially Solder and Vareen.

IF we get Kiwanuka, then yes, that would improve our pass rush tremendously. He becomes our best rusher immediately. Manny Lawson OTOH, not so impressed by him.

So the pressure is now on Cunningham to become that guy. I hope the kid is as good as Belichick thinks of him.

our CBs will allow them to have about 10 seconds to get to the CB so I'm not too worried about it.

Whats with all of this "we" and "we're" BS...since when did you sign a contract with the Patriots?

Good god man, stop your freaking whining. Patriots had junk depth at running back, cb and OL...all needs addressed.

I don't know how any of these drafted players will develop. but I know this, you sure as hell don't either.

In Bill we trust, they must be the best.

It would be an absolute joke for either Tully or Ninkovich to being starters on this team.

Tully is a back up at best, Nick is a 3rd string special teamer.
