I like Mayo, much better than mustard, though I like ketchup a lot ! Seriously, Mayo might be a great choice, especially if the trade down with New Orleans rumor winds up happening. I rather have Mayo than Ellis. If we could squeeze some extra choices out of N.O., I'd be thrilled. He has size, good speed, versatility.....He would be a good choice. If we can wind up with some good linebackers and conerbacks, I'd be thrilled. Once again though, I expect Beioli to throw us a curveball, I truly think nobody has a clue who we are gonna pick, OR WHERE !

Last year it was either Beason or David Harris. Some had Beason as a Patriots lock for a week or more, and the night before the draft rumors started circulating from either "inside sources", or "sources close to the team", that NE was going to select Harris. We didn't really hear much from those sources in regard to Meriweather though, right?

Wasn't talking about a mock draft, but the rumors and reports leading up to the draft in '07. A number of reporters thought Beason was very high on their list, and the day before the draft "inside sources" leaked that NE was going to select David Harris. That's part of the reason Kiper seemed to completely dumbfounded when the Patriots didn't select him.

FWIW, I know Remix, Briz, bakes, myself, and likely some others all had Meriweather to the Patriots.
