I'm of the opinion that you can't salute or abuse someone else's Patriots picks until you've done your own.

So here's what I would like. And yes, I have fallen in love with Robert (Quinning) Quinn.

Trade #17 + #60 + #74 for #6 (Cleveland take less value with Green and Peterson gone to Cincy and Arizona, knowing there is a deep DE class.)

#6 - Robert Quinn, DE/OLB, NC.
#28 - Mohammad Wilkerson, DT, Temple
Trade #33 for #41 and a 2012 2nd rounder with Washington.
Trade #41 for #49 and #80
#49 - Marcus Cannon, OT, TCU or James Carpenter, OT, Bama. (Depending on Cannon's health)
#80 - DeMarco Murray, RB, Oklahoma
#92 - Ricky Stanzi, QB, Iowa
Trade #125 for #156 and #157 from Seattle.
#156 - Owen Marecic, FB/TE, Stanford
#157 - Da'Rel Scott, RB, Maryland
#159 - Anthony Gaitor, CB, Florida International
#193 - Ryan Whalen, WR, Stanford

3/4 starters, 3 developmental players, a backup QB and Marecic who does everything.

What I expect is:
Trade #17 to #21 and get #86 from Kansas City (Pioli)
#21 - Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
#28 - Mohammad Wilkerson, DT, Temple
#33 traded toTennesse for #39 and 2012 2nd. Titans move up for QB that's slipped and overpay for it.
#39 - Justin Houston, OLB, Georgia
#60 - Rodney Hudson, C, Florida State
#74 traded to 49ers for 2012 2nd and #174
#86 - Jordan Todman, RB, UConn
#92 - Ricky Stanzi, QB, Iowa
#125 - Niles Paul, WR, Nebraska
#159 - Mark Herzlich, OLB, BC
#174 - Anthony Gaitor, CB, Florida International
#193 traded to Washington for #213 and 2012 7th
#213 - Will Hill, FS, Florida. Causing PatsFans.com to explode with rage as Bill thinks he knows the Florida kids the best and thinks he can make Hill a NFL starter.

3, maybe 4 starters. Backup QB. A burner in Paul. Herzlich can kick Hill's backside into making him a good player. And I really like Gaitor.

The "What I expect draft" would also leave 2012 picks: 1, 2(SF), 2(TEN), 2, 3, 4, 5, 7(WAS).

Give me your thoughts, criticisms, insults and praise. And you might get some insults and thanks back to you ;)

The thought of Quinn and Wilkerson in round one would have me completely ecstatic.

Why would we trade the top pick in the second round plus another second rounder for a second in 2012?

We aren't.

We're trading 33 for a 2nd. as well as next years 2nd. It's based on the fact that 2 or 3 teams will be competing for a QB at 33 knowing that Buffalo are waiting at 34 to take another one.

Your trade scenario for #6 won't happen unless you add something equivalent to another 2nd round pick which would mean your other trade probably wouldn't be feasible either. Not knocking the selections themselves. The trade you have in the 2nd scenario is actually spot on in terms of value.

Yeah, the Quinn one is tough to do. It's a shame he wont slip to 8 or 9 now.

We'd be going up 11 spots for a 2nd and 3rd. If Mangina was there, I think we'd get away with it.
