Draft is approaching and i thought it would be interesting to see who are the prospects at each of our picks in the 1st where you would be more than underwhelmed if their name was called. (or just the McCourty WTF moment)

Mine are:

17: Costanzo (may be wrong but i don't think he is an elite tackle at the next level)

28: Justin Houston (a possition of need but a player i think is a bust and got shown up by tackles at the senior bowl practices)

Who's yours?

Pouncey before 28
Akeem Ayers before the 7th round
Cameron Jordan
Any first round tackle
Brooks Reed before 60

oh yeah if we take ayers 28 or 33 i think i'll lose it too i just don't see what he brings to the table

Would it be too much to say that if we take Ayers in the first that BB might just see what he brings to the table?

Having said that, of all the first round options, Ayers might be my least favourite too.

Oh of coarse... once i have calmed down i will realise BB knows all... but the threads about who you would hate to have us pick and for me Ayres is among the list

This might sound boring, but I'm racking my brains and there's no-one, aside from QB's, I'd be disappointed in if we draft them. Ayers and Sherrod whelm me the least but neither would be disastrous. There's players I want more than others, but not one would make me throw something at the telly.

Probably means I'm in for a good night :singing:

Too many to number.

I don't want....Connon Barwin

Or who was that guy we had the 65 page thread on??? The 'average' LB? I don't want him either:eek:

Who the heck was that guy? Now that's going to drive me nuts.

As Dabruinz mentioned months ago.

"Just say no to Costanzo."

No offensive line in the first round.

Houston+Ayers

A quarterback in the first 3 rounds

Nate Solder - Was a two year starter at a big 12 school known for producing linemen. Beaten numerous times in several games this season by the same move. Yet is considered by some as a guy with potential who is just "raw". When is the dividing line between "raw" and "not very good and may never be"?

Aldon Smith - Built like Shawn Crable and almost as clumsy. Couldn't be coached out of a bad habit by Warren Sapp in "Gamechangers".

We pick a TE at 17 and I become a Lions fan.

In Belichick I Trust, but... Akeem Ayers' tape is among the worst I've ever seen for a kid getting serious first round discussion.

Not sure why everyone is so opposed to taking OL in the first round. It looks to me like a pretty big need.

Pouncey in the first, unless he and brother pull some version of parent trap and Maurkice comes to New England as Mike.
