Good win by the Celtics but I'm completely underwhelmed by our pathetic paint presence. If the Celtics get out of the first round they're going to face some serious problems unless they can start pulling in some rebounds.

The Celtics played down to their competition for the last few months of the season ... and they continue that trend. They have enough talent and experience to pull it out at the end but eventually they will get burned doing it this way.

Well, what do you say about that performance. The Celtics were as good as the Knicks were insipid. 50.6% shooting, 58.3% 3PT shooting 88.2% FT shooting. That's some sort of shooting. Shooting shooting shooting.

Now for the Red Sox to take care of the Angels and the Power to take care of the Suns (AFL Australia) and today will be a ripping Saturday (yes I know it's Friday for you kids).

Congrats, Celtic Fans. Great series by you guys. Everyone wanted to write off the C's after the end of the season but they have just dominated my team at home twice. If the Celtics don't come out of the East I will be suprised.

They'll need to play far better against the Heat (assuming they win out) especially in the paint. I'm not going to read as much as I probably should into beating an injury depleted Knicks (especially given Amar'e's importance to the side).

Nice to have the series done with and some rest for the players.

I'm honestly very happy that the Celtics advanced into the second round. Although a Knicks-Heat series would have been fun to watch, Celtics-Heat is going to be absolutely EPIC. This should be one of the most heated, physical, and anticipated playoff games in the last several years. It's going to be must see TV.
