Brandon Marshall Stabbed

Happy days in Miami, again. I find myself appreciative for NE ignoring my requests to draft him when he came out.

Unbelievable. This guy never learns. Ever. Maybe when he's dead he will start taking things a bit more seriously.

Sounds like he's blowing all his money also...Said he has to find a job cuz there won't be football this year....

Did Miami pay him peanuts to sign?

Also sounds like he's womanizing ...stabbed by a female....

Great character guy....

How many women is he going to beat or drive to craziness? At this point I don't even feel bad for him, he probably deserved it.

Is there an echo in here :bricks:

I interview many many people in correctional settings..psych units.. the true sociopath will say "he deserved it"

(If I was more clever, or awake, I'd come up with a lame joke involving "tuna" and being "dolphin safe", but since I can't seem to...)

Saddest thing about that ESPN story? The comments section! Within the first half hour, the "debate" has now centered around -

1) Rascism
2) The merits of hitting vs not hitting women
3) OJ

Wake me up on draft day!

I wonder if someone stuck a fork in him after his 2010 performance ?

Just to see if he is done !

This is both sad and, sadly, unsurprising.

As the ESPN article wrote, he was with Darrent Williams when Williams was shot and killed.

Not the first altercation for these newlyweds...they tangled a month before the wedding last summer as well. He tweeted at 4PM yesterday he was off to get a haircut...maybe when he returned she didn't see any indications he'd had one...

Will be interesting to see if she's charged or he's charged or they just throw another soiree to show it was all a terrible misunderstanding and they've patched things up.

Woo, I'm a true sociopath!

Make it two. I'm sure we'll have more company.

We're not talking about a one-time incident here. The guy has an extensive track record of domestic abuse. When OTL did a piece on him back in 2009, they outlined 13 incidents where police have been involved, including numerous domestic abuse calls.

The full time line is here. This article mentions the 11 calls the Sheriff's office had about Marshall's home while playing in Denver. While only one resulted in an arrest (charges later dropped) and several weren't directly related to Marshall, it speaks to the type of people he associates with. It also includes police complaints made against him and his ex-GF in 3 different states.

But I'm the sociopath. :p

Right - no one knows what was happening at the time that she stabbed him.

Nor can anyone rule out that this was a long-term abuse situation in which she finally "snapped" - it's less a case of ANYONE deserving attempted murder and more an acknowledgement that there is the potential to learn that Marshall's history of abuse was a contributing factor to his own stabbing.

What an idiot...there's always some story with this guy.

It's unreal. 13 cases of abuse against women and he's also involved in the death of his teammate as an instigator. Kind of sucks when a woman finally decides to stand up for herself, doesn't it Marshall?

There is that possibility that his wife is just crazy.....maybe he didn't do anything. I just want to keep all the possibilities in mind.

I'm pretty sure McDonald's is hiring. Just remember to always push the desserts Brandon.
