Once again, I just wanted to invite some of you over to http://www.lions-fans.com for some pre-game banter.

As far as the game is concerned, it looks like Kevin Jones might play, which is good news for us, and Mike Williams has impressed Martz enough to where he might see some action as well.

This is a good thread regarding a pro scout who was interviewed by one of our beat writers and commented on the Lions front to back.

Cheers to a good game this week.

What ails Kevin Jones?

Judge, thanks for the content.

I like how in every offensive position breakdown, they talk about how bad the O-line is:

That's the weakness of the team.

Running Backs
Kevin Jones is good... but the production won't be there until somebody blocks for him.

QB
I like Jon Kitna. He competes and he has good arm strength, but that offense will only go as far as the line and right now it's pretty bad.

Overall
Offensively, they're not going to get much done with that line.

If there's one thing to take away from this analysis, its that the Lions clearly need more wide receivers.

My god i can imagine the rage from people in Detroit if they draft another WR especially if its another WR not named Calvin Johnson.

Is that you Matt Millen?

I tried to joke with some friends at work this week about the game, maybe making a friendly wager. Nope. Nothing. Lions fans are defeated, and revolting. Millen has made them a complete joke. Detroit sports radio even ignores them now. I hope the Pats run it up on them.

Yeah, the Lions fans that do show up will probably in Pats t-shirts and jerseys. I'm not kidding, remember the game against the Bengals last year when Lions fans wore orange and black shirts curtousy a local radio station (I think maybe a TV station but you get the idea).

Yup. That was WDFN. They also did the "Millen Man March" around the stadium in protest. The Lions are a joke.

Lets just hope that the Pats do better against the Lions than the Christians did. :D[/QUOTE

you're the best Nemster...always thinking
