Noticed theat he wasn't listed on the Lions depth chart.

Unlike others, I never really minded that he left when he was a FA. He took the money and I don't blame him. He kept his mouth shut and left and that 's OK. We found a more than adequate replacement for him.

Yup, put him on IR in mid October due to a sprained foot. Must have been one hell of a sprain.

I didn't like losing him at the time but agreed with the Pats cap strategy. What a late round find Koppen was.

I was all for dumping the guy. Good guy nice guy did anything you wanted but as a center he couldnt snap a shotgun or snap for FG's etc.

Lions paid WAY WAY TOO MUCH for him.

Just another example of the system making the player and not the player making the system (ie. Givens, Milloy, Poole, Patten, Andruzzi, Fauria, Ashworth, Washington, Davis, dare I say Branch at this point, etc.)

If any of this pans out he may end up needing all the extra $$$ he got in that Detroit deal just to cover alimony and child support. This is what happens when you leave a championship team to go play for a loser for a few more pieces of silver. Too much time and money on your hands and too little focus on winning football is the devils workshop.
