Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant welcome to return, mall announces | Dallas Cowboys | Latest news ...
Less than a week after Bryant was given a criminal trespass citation and banned from the mall for 90 days the rookie receiver is free to resume shopping at NorthPark Center, a mall spokesman said Friday in a statement.

"Mr. Bryant is welcome to join the millions of customers who shop and dine at NorthPark Center," NorthPark spokesman David Mardulies said. "The mall considers last weekend's issue closed."
...
The ban would have been a setback for Bryant and the mall. He shops at the mall three times a week and has spent thousands of dollars at NorthPark Center.

Yeah, it's a slow news week. But I have to say I'm really happy we didn't draft Bryant. Whether saggy pants are offensive or not is irrelevant; how Bryant dealt with the matter showed some serious immaturity/attitude issues.

with all that money, he is shopping at the mall? What is he 13 yrs old. Strange if you ask me

I bet Amazon is cheaper!

I've read some comments pointing out that it's a high-end shopping concourse with lots of designer labels  Like that changes anything, especially since he was a regular at the Foot Locker.

Very, very, very strange. Deion Sanders also had some negative comments about him, though I don't really trust anything Deion says. Great player on the field, idiot off it. But I do believe him when he says the Cowboys had a team of people around Bryant to handle him.

The really telling part of the story, IMO, is that this was Bryant's fourth run-in with security at the same mall this year. Once was for causing a "major disturbance" in a fight with a woman at a restaurant; once for parking in a fire lane; and once -- get this -- for cutting to the front of a lonnggg line at the Apple Store and refusing to leave, insisting he had a right to cut because he'd gotten the guy behind him to agree by offering to pay for his purchase.

If you ever wonder what draft analysts mean when they cite "immaturity concerns," now you have a textbook definition.

He's also being sued for" Lindsay Lohanning" $246K worth of jewelry from a NY jeweler.

.......thank you,Jerry Jones

.......and thank God,for Bill Belichick

And it was only less than a year ago everyone wanted to smash BB for passing up on him. ;)

Haha some people still do. I have read some one as recent as a couple months ago say, they still want dez bryant. Pretty bold statement knowing what we now know about Devin Mccourty.

Who is this Devin McCourty guy you speak of? ;)

My wrong draft predictions can fill volumes, but this little bit I can be proud of: I wanted no part of Dez Bryant OR Sergio Kindle last year.

That was in Feb 2010...before he was drafted.
How did he have the money or ability to run up that kind of a tab as a college student?!

heh...wait til Adrian Peterson finds out...my bet is he'll be all over Bryant to give HIM the balance owed, since Peterson is so disadvantaged and worked like a slave....total,complete emotionally stunted dwarves...at this point part of me wants this strike to bury the season just to see what these morons will do...

lettuce be real tea, who wouldn't let Dez Bryant pay for their iPad?

Add another lawsuit from a Texas-area jeweler for $615K:

Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant faces 2nd lawsuit, for $615K - ESPN Dallas

lettuce be real tea, who wouldn't let Dez Bryant pay for their iPad?

True. But it speaks to a certain sense of entitlement off the field, which one could imagine correlates to on-the-field. The whole shoulder pad thing with Roy Williams was seen by some as just a stupid little thing people shouldn't get worked up over, but it's clear now that it was just the first warning sign of a major problem.
