Pats #1 in NFL Team in Fan Loyalty

NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
1. New England Patriots
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. Green Bay Packers
5. New York Jets

Detailed metrics for selection not defined in the article. I would think the Jets fans would be the most loyal seeing how their team unlike the others listed hasn't won anything for half a century

Since it's a sports marketing firm, I bet the most heavily weighted criteria was fans bonding with players. And I bet Tom Brady is a huge reason for that high score. Even the goats like him.

That's our Tommy Boy...gets the bestiality vote!

This is a stupid poll (aren't they all?). First of all, fan loyalty should not be re-evaluated on a year by year basis. And to poll 250 people per market? What is the margin of error when you poll 250 people in a region of millions?

How do you define "loyalty"?

gimme a break.

so what this poll is saying is that the better the team is, the more loyal the fan?

what about the fan who goes to see the 0-16 detroit lions? thats loyalty if you ask me.

the MOE probably isnt as big as you think. its a dumb poll for other reasons though

I'm a better fan of the Patriots than the rest of the NFL combined. Do I win something? ;)

Us Pats fans stick with our team because we know our team always has a good chance when they cheat.

...allowing your wife to spend an intimate night with TB in exchange for two free tickets to the next Jets at Pats game.

to me the packers fans are the most loyal

when they were bad, good, whatever

willing away season tickets?

That is a much better test then gauging the loyalty of a fan that roots for a team that's consistently in the playoffs every year.

Have they seen this board after a Patriots loss? :)

Good point.

Add to the that, the fact that their coach is a Swinger with a foot fetish who apparently was under the belief that Youtube was a private video forum, and their QB is trolling for girlfriends at the Junior Prom, and you really have to give a ton of credit to Jets fans for staying loyal.

Thankfully, it's not that hard to be loyal to this franchise since 1994.

No kidding. If the pollsters spent 5 minutes on here after a loss, they would drop us at least 20 spots.

Don't confuse critical fans with bandwagon fans...

Critical fans are also loyal.......

Venting is good

I consider the current crop of Pats fans much less loyal than the fans of the other 3 pro teams in the region. When Brady is gone these fans will be much less loyal.

Using that standard true loyalty would be a night with the janitor for those two tickets.

Ha, and you fled the region!
