@DariusButler28 today your birthday bruh? Happy b-day, what we doing today teammate<---we on the same team on Madden #icandream
. This is via chad Ochocinco's twitter I will link it when I am home later

Is Chad Johnson saying he can dream of being part of the pats in his happy birthday tweet to butler?

To me he seems to be crying out to join us. Personally I do not want him unless he can show he means business first.

Butler is more likely going to end up on the Bengals next season that OC on the Pats.

Welker gets benched for toe and foot remarks in one interview. I highly doubt Chad could keep off the tweets and stay out of the media's eye. As much as i would like to give a 4th for him I don't think Belichick would have him regardless of their seemingly good relationship.
Ofcourse I said the same thing about Moss a few years ago and look what happened.

I think if he ever got here he would be well behaved. He never has had any real issues just his ego...and he would have to know already that it gets checked at the door. I would be more worried about where his skills are at though, he aint getting any younger. I think he still has a few good years left so I would be on board.

He's gonna be in the MLS next year, he'll tear it up at his tryouts :D

I get a little bit tired of hearing about older washed up receivers who should be retiring, wanting to come to the Pats.

If we are going to bring a washed up,talent long gone WR to NE,it might as well be Moss again,at least he has been in the system.....and some of you know how I feel about Moss wanting to come back.

We are planning to build this team back up to elite prominence again, not drag or slow it down.

Chad hasn't been great for quite some time now....pass

We are in need of vet receivers like Fitzgerald or Sidney Rice who have plenty left in the tank and yet are not anywhere near finished

This team does not need old fart has beens like Moss,Owens or Johnson

You are far off.

I don't want Ocho on this team either but he is not washed up. He has at least 1-2 good 60 catch 800-900 yds kind of years left. I would put him ahead of Moss at this point and had the same kind of year Moss did in 2009 and is two years younger.

Sidney Rice is an enigma. Lots of talent and potential. Can't stay healthy at all.

I guess we have to agree to disagree

While Chad has stats to prove he WAS an elite receiver,I have never really seen him take over a game and never really carried the team on his back, per say.

I think Chad is overrated somewhat and his charismatic personality overshadows it.

There is no room in NE for Prima Donnas and guys like Chad who love to garnish the spotlight.....let them go to the Jets where that kind of nonsense is tolerated.

he can be our Ozzie Guillen -- taking the pressure and spotlight away from everyone else.

Ohcho is an excellent entertainer but I'd rather have Sidney Rice.

When players are willing to change their attitude to go to a new team, you know that organisation is special :) I'd take him anytime, I have no doubt he would change his ways just to be a Patriot. The guy wants to win.

I see Moss back on this team before Ocho

I'd take ocho on the pats. Screw MLS, Ocho get ready for some real FOOTBALL!

How many WRs in the NFL have ever carried a team on their back? The nature of the position makes it nearly impossible, there are maybe a couple of guys who are even capable of doing it at any time.

I don't really care one way or the other with Ocho (glad that he wants to come here, and I'm sure BB will do his due diligence and make the right call, whatever that may be), but your reasoning makes no sense.

There's only 3 receivers in the NFL who carry a team on their backs - Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson.

I have no reasonable reason to beleive this, or would even remotely beleive that it would be a good idea, but I ain't gonna lie..... There is a small part of me that would love to see him here.

There, I said it.

Exactly, and none of their teams are particularly good.

He did get rid of the Ochocinco name and got his name back so that shows a willingness to take the spotlight off himself.
