Great Blue North Draft Report

He has NE aggressively going up to #11 to get Cam Jordan at the cost of #17 and #60. He also has NE trading #28 to Cincy for #35 and a 4th.

Comments?

Pats must rate Jordan very highly to trade up with JJ Watt still on the board, not to mention Ryan Kerrigan, Al Smith, Julio Jones, Wilkerson, and every Lineman (Pouncy and Watt still available at #28!)

Huh...I just noticed there was a 2nd round added, and a 3rd:

#33 LeShoure
#35 Baldwin
#74 Mock
#92 Rackley

I like the effort, with some outside-the-box thinking....but I wouldn't like this much at all.

Huh...10 minutes after your post, that GBN link goes to a mock very different from what you described. :confused2:

EDIT: Patriots now come away with Aldon Smith, Brandon Harris, Torrey Smith, Christian Ballard and a "conditional 1st" in 2012. Meh.

Bad timing, I guess. They also get Jordan Todman. I think I like the new updated better. Apparantly Lindsay just feels strongly about the Pats trading up simply because they have the ammo....now trading up for Smith...not even the same position as the last trade-up target. I don't see the need to trade up three spots (although the cost is more bearable) with Watt, Kerrigan, Wilkerson, Heyward, and every OL still on the board.

Oh, and Dontay Moch is now a first rounder? Yikes!

O Canada,
you've got Buffalo on the brain,
why else would NE be drafting like Kurt Colbain?

I'm not as high on Jordan as most people, ewww...no thanks.

The trade up to snag Aldon smith is cool with me. The rest of the Patriots draft is a $h!tsandwich IMO. I think Lindsay is oblivious to the fact that we potentially have 3 starting O-line positions to fill next season.

I guess Jets need to replace Gholston's production.
