Hear me out.
Think of bands that can fill stadiums. They are old. Function, I guess of twitter, facebook, or myspace making more bands moderately successful, but not like Rolling Stones in 1974.
Other than sports teams there will be little revenue for stadiums.
A UFL team has what, 6 or 7 home games where at least the stadium gate receipts might out do the Revolution.
In the meantime jags can play for he NE UFL franchise during a lock out. Minor assistant coaches can get a paycheck too. (Not Belichick, but guys like the strength and conditioning coach.) People that sell beer and programs can still work the stands at a UFL game.
Afterward it can be the "minor league" team all those promising, but not on the final 53 can go to.
And during the lockout players can work out with the New England UFL team if they are rehabbing an injury, or an incoming rookie who should meet a coach and go over a playbook suspiciously similar to what that assistant used when with the Patriots.
