Add to the fact he AGAIN threw his recievers under the bus...and yes they had some drops but they were probably shocked when the ball actually got to them. vick is terribly inaccurate and a crappy QB who has less brains then Big Ben and thats saying something. Gotta love it when a "QB" completes 9 of 24 for a whopping 84 yards and accepts no blame and infact DOES blame everyone else. I bleive his quote is that he is frustrated because he is giving people the opprotunity to make plays and they aren't stepping up! What a joke! I watched the game and vick simply is a moron who has no idea what he is doing...if he wasn't fast he would be flipping burgers...actually he would probably be in jail since he doesn't seem to have any real work ethic in learning the offense he just blames others for his failings and then flips of the fans for FINALLY calling him on it.

As the saying goes, "you draft a punk you get a punk". Actually there's no saying but that's what I say.

Not a big Vick fan, but he ran for 160+ yds and would have had well over 300 yds of total offense if not for 5 of the most shameful drops you will ever see.

Still no excuse for flipping off the fans :) The Falcons have bent over backwards to bring him WR. At this point I'd say that it's his fault if he can't work with a single one.

Jay Leno tonight said what's the big deal?

"Vick was just telling the fans to
Mind Their Own Falcon Business".

Lets see if the NFL has the guts to do what other sports would do in this case and give him a significant fine and a 1 game suspension.

He wasn't flipping them off, he was giving them the "dirty bird." :D

Anyway, Vick has 3 issues with his receivers. First, he is terribly inaccurate, second when he does hit a receiver he normally guns it in there making it difficult to catch, third when he actually throws a catchable ball his receivers are so awestruck that they drop it. He's been a starting QB in this league long enough to learn how to throw a catchable pass, and he has shown signs of it, he just doesn't have the work ethic to do it consistently.

he is simply a classless turd.

He was just reminding them that he was a first round pick.

Funny, even the security guard is thinking 'What are you? stupid?'

It should be a requirement that all draftees write 'I will never flip off the fans.' 1,000 times before they're allowed to get into even one play.

Jim Mora Sr. was right. Vick is a coach killer. The problem is to Jim Mora Jr., so is his father. Mora Sr.'s comments made Mora Jr. have to go as far as saying that if he was building a team there would be no other player he would want as a the cornerstone than Vick which is total BS. It has definitely made Vick disgruntled too. I bet he tells Arthur Blank that either Mora goes or he goes this offseason. Blank will side with Vick.

Vick is the worst kind of player. He is gifted physically, but he doesn't see to want to work to improve his game or get his fundamentals down. There are third string QBs who have never played a down in the NFL who have far superior fundamentals than Vick.

Vick also doesn't protect the ball or his body and is just reckless. He feels that whenever a play breaks down that he can make something happen with his feet and sometimes what should have been an easy dump of the ball out of bounds turns into disaster.

Also, Vick is not a leader. Whenever people start to criticize his game, he always throws someone under the bus whether it is his receivers or his coaches. A leader takes responsibility for his team's poor play whether it is his fault or not. Do you think Brady would ever had gone out and said that on his first INT on Sunday that he threw a good ball, but Watson coughed it up? Vick would.

I kinda feel for Mora Jr. What he he should be doing right now is sitting Vick and trying out Matt Schaub to see if can lead this team. I don't think a team can win with Vick at QB and with Dunn starting to show his age, we are seeing that it isn't all that hard to gameplan for Vick.

I have a feeling that unfortunately for the Falcons that Vick will be on the Falcons next year and Mora and Schaub won't. I just hope Schaub doesn't end up in Miami or New York with the Jets.

Since 2001, San Diego has succeeded in trading Michael Vick and Eli Manning for...hmm, I think it's:

LaDainian Tomlinson
Drew Brees
Nate Kaeding
Philip Rivers
Shawne Merriman

Scrambling QBs (even the hyped ones) are generally just too inconsistent and unpredictable to win many playoff games much less a superbowl. The only scrambling QB to win a superbowl that I can remember was Steve Young - and he was a very good pocket passer as well as very good at roll out and scrambling. Someone else may recall another true scrambling QB that won a SB.

363804 had it summed up pretty well. The rest of the offense just simply never knows what they need to do to and this leads to them just giving up on trying. Is the O-line supposed to pass protect or block for a scramble ? If they block for a scramble, which route do they block for ? Is a WR supposed to put every ounce of energy into a precise route when he almost never gets the ball when he is supposed to ? Or is he figuring that he is going to have to run any kind of little pattern and then look back to see what Vick is doing and go into WR scramble mode. Or should he play for a run block for Vick ? I figure that a really top producing receiver has to get into a mental headset that if he runs his route correctly and gets separation that he is going to expect he will get the ball and has to put maximum concentration and effort into making the catch. Uncertainty destroys a receivers concentration and expectation that he is going to get the ball.

Culpepper falls pretty much into the same mode. You just can't build a top team with that type of QB despite the clueless media hype and fan appeal. Neither is ever going to approach Steve Young capability. Maybe they should just turn Vick into a running back or see if he could be a quick out/screen/reverse type WR.

I have to disagree w/ most of you. I think Vick is preety good QB, if his WR didn't drop so many balls I think he would be considered a top QB (no I'm not saying he is ass good as Brady or Manning). As for giving the finger none of us where there so we don't know what was said to him, if a fan called is mother a whore I would've like to seen Vick go into the stands and knock the guy out. Just you can buy a ticket doesn't give you the right to be an idiot.

I'm sorry, but this blaming the receivers is getting old. How many different receivers have they given Vick over his career? Sooner or later you gotta point the finger at the QB. Dropped passes aren't always the receiver's fault. The dropped pass excuse was the same excuse they were using when Peerless Price, Brian Finneran, and Dez White were catching balls from him. Now it is the same excuse with Michael Jenkins, Ashlie Lelie, and Roddy White. To be a top QB, you still have to produce with not a lot of talent.

I think when it comes to Vick, he has a lot of enablers in the media who deflect blame from him. Yes, he doesn't have the greatest receivers, but you watch him and he is very limited as a QB and his mechanics are horrible. He lives and dies on raw talent and ignores much of the fundamentals and doesn't know how to read defense. If he had Peyton Manning's receiving corp, I bet he would still struggle as a passer.

and a couple of yrs down the line when he gets older, his speed will reduce as well and if he doesnt pass the ball well he might just become worse ....he cant sustain this kind of running skills as he gets older...

Now that is Bad Body Language! :)
