I may have read it wrong, but I thought I read it somewhere.

What were your impressions of him in preseason? And what can us Dallas fans expect?

And yes-the Vandy season months ago revolted me even more so than TO coming here.

Gramatica kicked in preseason and looked rock solid. Kickoffs were a little shorter and those in camp said his FG were clearly lower than Gostkowski's but they were both accurate in camp and in preseason. I said a week or two ago the Cowboys should make this move, I don't know what took them so long.

Thank You for the response.

Oddly-Bill P's biggest mistake here in Dallas wasn't the QB for awhile-it was the K's.(Last year, it was Cortez and Cundiff, NOT Bledsoe, that cost us 3 or 4 games)

But yeah-it seems like everything is falling into place for us now!

Hopefully-we'll see you guys in Miami in Feb!:rocker:

You lucked out. This guy was ready to go and would have made our team had we not drafted a kicker.

Kick that lickered up sum***** to the curb.:D

Now, now, Vanderjerk may be all of that, but remember who he was calling out for being a whiney, finger pointing, me-first kind of team leader. We Pats' fans should at least give him grace points for that. :D

Heh, Dis, what Belichickfan said, you may not get the old autimatica, but he wasn't looking too bad in preseason - for awhile there was speculation here that he would stick and the rook would get a longer settling in period. Good luck until we whup ya in Miami! :rocker:

Gramatica's a good pickup for the Cowboys. Now go out and beat that overrated team from Chicago in the playoffs!

Don't tease us with comments like that, it's too much to hope for right now. I couldn't even imagine. Big Bill vs. Little Bill. And Bledsoe Replacement #1 vs. Bledsoe Replacement #2 :D

He's also said things like the Patriots were "ripe for the picking" and that our team was overrated in general. He's still an a--hole in my book.

As for Grammatica, good pickup. I wish we had kept him as a short FG specialist while we broke in Gostkowski.

So he was wrong about the Pats, doesn't mean he wasn't right about his own club. We don't have to love him, but he 'done good' pointing out something we've suspected about the great Peyton Manning, so adios V-jerk, thanks for being the other entertaining Indy clown. :p
