I won't believe his career is over until he says it is.
Unlike defensive back and O-line, the Pats don't have much of a shadow roster at LB. The Pats worked out two veteran inside linebackers during training camp - Orlando Huff and Chris Claiborne - but each is now with the Cardinals and Giants, respectively. The following is a list of linebackers the Pats cut in training camp:I hope we see him back next year. Best wishes.
who do we pick up to replace him? any thoughts?
Is Roman Phifer's locker still set up?

No doubt Pioli's rolodex is thicker than that. However, going off the most recent dealings of this team, the thing to do now that Seau's on IR is either:
1) sign Mincey off the 49er's practice squad to our active roster
2) bring Antwan Spann back to the active roster, and sign Roach to the PS
Or maybe Ted Johnson and Roman Phifer are feeling frisky.
Actually, the Pats worked out Claiborne and Orlando Ruff.
Here's what you do. Sign Orlando Ruff. Then take him to Arizona and, when no one's looking, switch him with Orlando Huff. It's Arizona. Ruff will be happy to have a job, Huff will be happy to be playing for a real football team, and no one on the Cardinals staff will be the wiser until after their season ends, and the Pats will get off scot-free.
Yeah, okay, I blew it. :bricks:
Yeah, if there's one player you're never going to see on the field again from pats1's list, its Dat.Nice.
I can't believe that Dat Nguyen is available. He's only 31 and was a GREAT player, but, according to the internet, he retired with a neck injury.
