Is Jonathan Baldwin worth the pick at 28?

No. He's a rotten route runner, inconsistent receiver, a diva without the resume.

I'd rather sign Donald Hayes.

I'd rather sign Donald "Duck" Dunn. At least he can get off a "jam."

Wow..well done.

As to the original question, no. No he's not.

I don't know about that. I think Baldwin will be twice the player he is. I don't like either of them though. Could Baldwin be better than what we all think? Sure. But from what I've seen, this guy couldn't separate himself from a turtle going full speed.

If we go wr early I'd much rather go with Hankerson.

Physical talent, but his attitude concerns me. Diva reference seems right.

One thing I don't like about Baldwin is that he body-catches a lot. Hankerson looks like a much more polished guy.

Hankerson impressed me a lot at the senior bowl and he ran much better than I expected at the combine. He had a fantastic year for Miami, especially when you consider how horrible the Miami QB is as a thrower.

I would not be upset if we drafted Hankerson at #33.

Ditto. He runs nice routes and can separate nicely. Even though he is working with the enemy {duper}. I admire that he wants to improve and puts the work in.

I see this guy as a slightly different version of Braylon Edwards (physically). Incredible skill set but if only he had a brain. He can't run routes and his poor attitude. But there's no doubt this kid could ball if he could fix that, how often do you see a guy that has his size:speed:jumping ratio?

I wouldn't take him at 228.

Baldwin is ridicuously talented, but I heard that in college he complained about his quarterback not getting him the ball to raise his draft stock so if he's complaining about not getting the ball already then he wouldn't work in a patriots offense that spreads the ball around. It'll be a big turn off for the patriots.
