All it means is that Ingram's advisors have given him good advice on the public relations aspect of the draft and he is capable of executing it.

No one should read anything more into it.

BB values RBs alot more than we think he does. He did draft Maroney in the first round and he did pay Fred (do nothin) Taylor $3M a year to sit in a tub. That said watch the combine....its a funny trend, the players we draft often dont participate or even go altogether. Go to nfldraftscout.com and check out last years draftees....most had some measurable missing. Important if you are checking out the combine this week. We love the suspicious!

Agree that the quote was interesting, and Ingram might have been referring to New England with those remarks. However, on the surface, it is an ambiguous statement, and he could have been referring to any of the 31 teams who did not win the Super Bowl in 2010.

So on board with Ingram under the pretense that it doesn't involve a trade up from 17 to grab him. I'm fully expecting Cameron Heyward to fall out of the 1st and well into the 2nd due to his injury, and weak statistical season. Next to JJ Watt he's on my short list of 34DEs to draft. We also have enough draft capital to move up and around to grab an OT and OLB.

That 40 time did not surprise me. It will be intriguing if that time does indeed drop him to the Patriots first pick. I still think that they will target defensive players like Cameron Jordan, Aldon Smith, and Cameron Hayward in the first round, but if some top offensive skill position players drop a bit... who knows?

If speed isn't what sets you apart than to me you don't need a 4.4 40 to be a sexy pick. Look at Legarrette Blount he ran like a 4.7 and it really didnt matter cuz he still demolished Defenses last season.

Makes me think he will definitely drop to bottom of the 1st round. He's not going to be that guy who can run between the tackles AND hit the homerun. I was high up on him before, but after the combine I don't think he's the RB we need right now.

This is true.

Losing the weight seems like a questionable decision now. At his size, If he can't breakaway from the pack at the next level he is basically BJGE. Good vision. Great ball security. Average speed. Keep in mind BJGE ran a 4.63 so he's faster than him but not by much.

No thanks, Green-Ellis already fills a need for a stable RB, if he were a gamebreaker like Peterson I'd consider it but he simply doesn't have that upside. if he falls into the late 2nd i'd think about it but otherwise I wouldn't consider it.

RBs like Benny go undrafted. No point taking somebody so similar in the first. If Ingram had played for Ole Miss, he wouldn't be a first round pick either.

I like Ingram but I don't like him enough to spend a first-round pick on him. Mario Fannin and Brandon Saine had good showings today; both big bruisers with hands that played elite competition. Stevan Ridley is intriguing in the late rounds. I also loved what I saw from Dion Lewis. He is small, however, he is an every down back, comes from a good program and has been very highly spoken of by Tony Dorsett and Curtis Martin. Anthony Sherman is interesting too.

he definitely wasn't... obviously trying to get across to the world/media/teams the fact he is a winner, that is all nothing more nothing less.
