Aaron Hernandez Recently Had Hip Surgery
By: Ian Logue

Many fans had wondered why we saw so little of Aaron Hernandez during the final weeks of this past season. It appears now we may have an answer after the Hartford Courant reported that he recently underwent hip surgery...

Dayum. That explains a lot. I hope he has a speedy and complete recovery.

could this have been the reason why Hernandez did not try to go all the way with some of his break out runs? He will have a shot of extending the play by moving lateral but he usually just goes into the body of the defender infront of him to initiate contact. I have always thought that he was gassed, but it could have been this injury.

I wonder when he actually hurt it?
I hope he heals well and continues to build on a promising career.

May I suggest the use of medical marijuana here to alleviate the pain of hip surgery and rehab?
