Was this one of the most excruciating games

to watch? Or do I take this too seriously? Joe Buck has the be the worst. He seemed to be rooting for the Bears! Maybe it was my Red Sox bias against him, but it made the game difficult for me. Aikman was OK believe it or not IMO.

Those PI calls giving the Bears 10 points! Un friggin believable!

Also when do you remember the Pats fumbling twice ON THE SAME PLAY!

Anyway, happy that we won of course. Just need to vent. That was one of the toughest games to watch in recent memory for me.

I agree with ya, this one was hard to watch. As far as J. Buck goes. He has to be one of the largest ass kissing clowns I have ever heard do commentating in my life. I have heard his **** many times, and everytime it gets worse. I hate that S.O.B. and he can kiss my ass as he trots out of pats town, eh?

The only thing that sucked for me was starting the game on my TIVO when it was actually in the fourth quarter and knowing that my wife already knew who was ahead.

It's excuciating for me when the Patriots are behind. But they were ahead all the way today, and I somehow had great confidence they would hold the lead, even when the Bears tied the score. In that way it was reminiscent of 2004. So today was pure entertainment.

It wasn't the best played, but was terrifically exciting, reminded me of an old time heavy weight fight.. I was glued to the tv the whole time, cannot remember a game that had that much entertainment factor, with so many ups and downs.. freaking exhausted after that one.

When Corey fumbled, I was actually hiding on my staircase, barely able to watch.

This game was EXCRUCIATING.

However, I really like Troy Aikman as a commentator. The guy is one of, if not the, best I've heard. So it was no surprise to me that he did well. I tried not to listen to Joe Buck.

It was a great game, especially since it ended with a win. Pretty excruciating, as everyone said. But to me, no other game will ever be as excruciating and exhausting as the Pats/Panthers Superbowl. I almost needed to take a valium during that one.

On Colvin's encroachment, Joe Buck stated that Colvin was claiming that the offense line moved when the replay showed that the tackle had just shifted his hand. Therefore, good call by the official. Troy Aikman said nothing in response to this stupid remark. I was hopping for something like "Joe you idiot any movement by the offense line once their set is illegal.â€

This game was not excruciating at all! The team played tough and with attitude, and instead of getting defeated when bad things happened, they got mad! It was more like a 2004 game. They were also ahead the whole time and you had the feeling that the defense was NOT going to let Chicago win. The Denver and Indy games, where the team was bumbling and flat (we still had some bumbling, but no flat last night) were much more excruciating for me.

I have to agree with this one. I was at the game and started swearing uncontrollably out loud like the worst gutter mouth after the first quarter. My husband was embarrassed by me. I couldn't stop. It was the only Pats game where I have ever thought I would have a heart attack during the game. Luckily we won that one too!

Of course the outcome has a lot to do with it! If the Pats had lost yesterday it would have been excruciating for another reason (the bad call on Hawkins which led to their only TD). The team still played with a lot more fire than the Denver and Indy games, which to me is a big positive. I went yesterday with friends who are more casual fans. One of them said toward the end of the game, "This has been a great game no matter what the outcome." I had to strongly disagree with him. To me it's only a great game if we win!

The fact Chicago never took a lead helped. But, as someone on the radio said last night, "It was the best 9 turnover game in the history of the NFL." And of course the "officiating" was lopsided and horrendous.
