As I mentioned in the other thread:

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...stion-nflpa-heres-your-chance-submit-one.html

I'll be hosting an event on Monday in conjuction with the UStream event to bring Patriots fans together here in New Hampshire for the NFLPA Fan Q&A. The event will be held at the following location:

Wings Your Way
Sports Bar & Restaurant
215 Lafayette Road
North Hampton, NH 03862
(603) 964-3333

I'll be there a bit early from 1:30pm until the end of the broadcast, which is expected to probably be a couple of hours. I've been told they'll have some food & drink specials for fans who will be attending, and there will be some giveaways, etc. I would really love the opportunity to meet some of you, so if you're around on Monday and can make it that would be great.

Any questions, obviously feel free to post them in this thread, and hope to see some of you there!

Also - a few people have PM'd asking where this is. If anyone here is familiar with Portsmouth, NH - it's about 5-miles south of Water Country on Route 1 (otherwise known locally as Lafayette Rd), so it's really easy to get to and not that far if you live around Newburyport, Nashua, Manchester, Portland ME, etc. It would probably take you 45-minutes or so to get here.

As I mentioned since it was done on such short notice, it's a nice place and it was obviously easier for me to arrange it locally. I think we'll have a good time, so definitely let me know if you can make it.

Please reply or keep PM'ing if you have any further questions, and as I said, I hope to see some of you there!

For those that can't make the gathering is there a place online to watch it, either live or after the fact?

Great Ian, an event 10 minutes from home but when I'm away in Floridah :(

The links will actually be announced in a release this weekend. I'll keep you posted as they become available. We'll be making arrangements to have it on the screens at the location Monday, and as I said be sure to stop by and grab food & beverage with us. :eat3:

Ian:
With the vow of silence made with the start of the new mediated 7 day CBA talks can we still antisipate responces to our submitted questions on the CBA?

Came home tonight to a big box of T-shirts that say, "Block the Lockout, Let Us Play" that came from the NFLPA for us to give out at the event. Pretty cool stuff.

So please be sure to stop in if you live nearby on Monday :D

Be looking for the next box from the owners that say "Hail the lockout, earn your pay" :p

I'll skip the pandering rhetoric, thanks. I'm holding out for a GET IT DONE...Negotiate A Sustainable CBA & Everyone Win's T.

I'm confused.

I thought both sides had agreed to a blackout on rhetoric during the mediation attempt?

I've tried to study the issues from both sides' perspectives and I don't think there's a "good guy" or a "bad guy" in this debate, just two (currently) incompatible views of how to split a big revenue pie and resolve a few other issues. Both sides seem to have valid arguments on their side.

So, (a) is the NFLPA violating the blackout and (b) why are we giving them a voice through a forum that represents many diverse views?

Agreed. I though the rhetoric was supposed to stop. Each side can more than afford media firms to gin up sound bites and find free forums to express them. Inflaming the situation for either side...yeah...just what we need.

So, is the board coming down 100% with the players in this? I don't have a dog in this hunt from either side, but I do think each side has merit in what it is saying. Count me out if you're putting the board behind one view or the other.
