What are the top five things to do in place of no NFL?

baseball?

oh god, oh why, no please no.

Very cool vids, thank you. I recently signed up for Fox Soccer Plus so I can see Serie A, and I saw they show rugby as well. Looks like I have new sports to get into.

It's very frustrating in America when quality games like rugby and "soccer" get no love. I much prefer them to baseball, and wish they would get a fair shake (MLS doesn't count).

Serie A....ewww. One of the most boring leagues IMO.

English Premier League is the best, German Bundesliga is also pretty entertaining.

The number 1 thing to do is clear and obvious: Watch college football.

Beyond that, it would depend on how well the Red Sox are playing to see if they could interest me in September or potentially October.

5. Cry a lot
4. Take lots of depression medication
3. Wash down the pills with lots of alcohol
2. Snap out of the depression
1. Watch college football

Isnt it obvious?? We all get in shape and become the new Patriot SCABS! YAHOO! Now run around and get open! One dream ends a new one begins!:rocker:

There's always soccer to look forward to to those soccer fans.

We have the 2 powerhorses in Spain as in Barcelona and Real Madrid to see how it plays out again. The premier league always is good with Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc always in the mix.

20/20 cricket isn't bad, it's the version designed to speed the game up. 20/20 is like the pure speed, power and skill version, Test cricket is about stamina and tactics and the one day game is somewhere in between. All require skill of course but 20/20 is like putting a one day game on fast forward and sort of ends up like the home run derby with big hits pretty much every over.

20/20 ofcourse means twenty overs, an over being six balls bowled.

Anyways, no football on would kill my sunday evenings. Sure I could go out or watch the many Spanish and Italian soccer games on tv here but I coach soccer by trade and I've been out all week. Football is my time to chill and take the mind off things, the perfect end to a week. The NFL off season already takes forever but atleast that time is broken by the draft and the attention leading up to it.

Pay more attention to the Red Sox - they move to the top and the Patriots go down the list below the Celtics and Bruins - those two always hover around for my attention when they are in season.

Baseball is a stale anachronism. I remember going to a Bankofamericasox game two or three years ago -- a PLAYOFF game against Tampa Bay -- and everyone in the stands was in conversation pretty much the whole time. Most of them were hardly looking at the field, just chatting away about whatever. B-O-R-I-N-G ... :bricks: I wish there was another quality sport to follow. NBA players are lazy. I might try getting into the Bruins again.

Enjoy your life.

I won't be back from Afghanistan until early November anyway. Between the NCAA and the NHL season starting in November, I'll be ok. I'll miss it, but the longer it's gone the less I will notice.

Thank you for your Service. Be safe.

Yeah, I think the first few weeks will be the hardest, plus missing all of the offseason "rituals" like mini-camp and Training Camp.

You know, when in doubt, there's always wrestling. Wrestling happens all year around. But I already follow wrestling.

At least cricket isn't scripted

1. Women
2. Women
3. Women
4. Women
5. Women

Add three more and you can ride shotgun with Antonio Cromartie. My cruising days have recently come to and end, replaced by a long list of home-improvement projects.

Whether it's wrestling or a film, you need a script.
