I'm not sure how many QB's would of actually tried that but Brady did it. Then we see the emotion pour out as he throws his arm out for the first down, love ittttttt:rocker:

That was a HUGE play IMO...

...something like that can rally the troops for games to come, when they see their leader on the field actually run TOWARDS Urlacher - and then instead of doing the "safe/smart" thing, put his health and career on the line by refusing to slide... juking Urlacher and getting the first down

The way the field cleared out for him I half wonder if that was a designed play - but I doubt they'd be risking the franchise like that

play of the year i think .. that was a thing of beauty

Screen capture, anyone? I want to wake up to Brady's 'first down!' every morning when I boot up the computer :D

Play of the year...AMAZING!
I loved the emotion from Brady. Shows that he is in the game and the consumate leader of this team.

I would LOVE to know what he said to Urlacher...priceless!!!!

I wouldn't mind a motion capture actually:)

I love that when Brady got up he went right over to Urlacher and let him hear it.

The entire sequence was awesome...
1. Brady runs for the 1st down and jukes out Urlacker
2. Brady in for the QB sneek on 3rd & 3
3. Brady throws TD pass under serious pressure to Watson.

No one does a better QB sneak than Brady. The Bears were totally caught off guard by that sneak.

This guy is a warrior. That should be on Sportcenter's Top 10 plays.

Maybe, "I'm sure glad you missed, or I would have been scattered all over the field?"

That play was the emotional spark his team needed, just like his touchdown run (followed by an emotional spike) in the 2001 AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Raiders. That reminded me of how great Brady is in the clutch. He (almost) always does what it takes to win the game. The bigger the game the bigger he plays. And while this was not a game with huge implications in the playoff race, it was a HUGE statement game. It announced to the world that we're still a team to be reckoned with.

I will never forget that play.

He is abosuletly nuts to try that.

unreal.

someone PLEASE post a youtube link or something of the play

There will be some comments about that Brady run when they watch the film :) That play epitomized Brady because he had no business . . . NONE . . . getting a first down there but somehow did.

Urlacher got OWNED! Brady is the best there ever was and the best there ever will be. :D :D

Brady just juked the guy that may well be the best middle linebacker in the NFL. Brian Urlacher. AND he took it for a 1st down en route to the game winning TD!! That was a priceless play! Wow. This is why we watch the game baby!

He's not as fast as that other Brady, but it looks to me that Brady has gotten faster than he was the last couple of years. :rocker:

Had the Patriots hung onto some of his throws his numbers would have looked decent. The long throw to Jackson, if he had glanced once and then turned back, he makes the catch. No way he can catch that ball running with his head turned back. Great game, with no breaks coming from refs.
