Is it too early to start a binky thread?

I liked aldon smith..........until I read an article about Jarvis moss......then I got scared.....

Watt, Wilkerson, Taiwan Jones, and Ras-I Dowling are mine so far. I also like Graig Cooper. I like Justin Houston, but I think he's going to test well and shoot up too far in the rankings.

Dane Locker!

What about Chris Carter of Fresno State, the WAC defensive player of the year and a potential fit for the 3-4 defense?

My early nothing-to-back-it-up binky list.

Mark Ingram
Stefen Wisniewski
Danny Watkins
Andre Holmes

Wait! We're supposed to justify binkies?! Damn, I guess I screwed up! ;)

PS - I'm a little uncertain about Holmes, but the other three are excellent!

Ah good. A binky thread; this way we will know who the Patriots will absolutely not draft and who the Eagles will select. Excellent.

It's never too early for a binky..... Mine's Wilkerson at DE

The Pats predictions for a lot of people (myself included) were right on the Jets in 2007 (Revis, Harris) and the Fins last year (Odrick, Misi). I think we need to focus our Pats prognostication powers on the Bills this year.

Buffalo is expected to take the #1 player on my Patriots type player board - Dareus of Alabama!

As it is every year ...my binky will be a cornerback. I am like Al Davis (but not as handsome); I obsess about CBs.

Every year I lust after them so imagine my delight when they took one first last year...but then I was like who is this guy? I wanted them to trade up for Haden...HA...I thought Wilson looked good Ha! But who was this guy from Rutgers with the stone hands?

You forgot Owen Marecic. . . . and Connor Barwin. ;)

Marecic is just a tremendous player. I would love for the Pats to get him, but do we really need to use a roster spot for a FB?

Why not? Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris are apparently on the roster for but they seldom get on the field. I like the idea of being able to play smashmouth football, with a tough FB who can set a physical tone and run over defenders. Give me a Peyton Hillis/John Kuhn type player any day of the week.

Sure as long as he can play special teams, block in pass protection and pick up those hard yards. It would also be a statement that the offense is going to try and not be so one dimensional.

I forgot to add Shane Vereen. I think he's this year's Maurice Jones-Drew, a tough-but-short Pac-10 back with home run speed. I'm actually worried that he'll run too well at the Combine -- he'd be great for the Pats, an upgrade to BJGE who's really great with those bubble screens we run so much. Also, he doesn't fumble. Seems like a great fit for that first third-rounder.

Mine is a long shot ... he could get picked in the 2nd round and i doubt Bill would take him there.. Because we already have Woodhead perhaps we do not draft him ... then again ... why not as he would supplant Tate in the return game if Tate gets the ax and he's got more jump than Edelman. This kid could replace Welker in the punt game also to save some miles on Welker.

He might be shorter than Woodhead.

On a good day he's been clocked at 4.24 in the 40.
